jjjon123
Tip.it should start a forum for dungeoneering recruitment. It would be nice to be able to get together with fellow tip.it'ers for dungeoneering. 1,000 F2P Total Level Reached 10/8/10 ! obfuscator
It's not a bad idea, however it may be wiser to wait a few more weeks to let the demand grow more as people learn more about the skill. Mirror
Maybe not a forum, but a sticky perhaps? I'm just thinking of what I would like as a user and also I don't know how much activity dedicating a whole forum to it would be... But I do agree something could be done with this. A reflection is just a distorted reality held by glass and your mind.
Danqazmlp
I doubt there would be enough demand for a whole forum for it. But a sticky somewhere would work if there was enough demand, however, where would it go? Want to be my friend? Mirror
I was thinking Help and Advice as the request for a partner sticky is there if I remember correctly. I think it would be along the same lines as that? A reflection is just a distorted reality held by glass and your mind.
Skeptical
It's a bit of a strange thing though: not popular enough to require an entire forum, IMO, but I hate stickies for things like that because of how poorly organized they are. Mirror
Yeah, that's what I was exactly thinking cooldog. But then again, what did we do with BA? Yeah, I know it isn't a skill but if we did something for that, we could follow that model? Who knows. A reflection is just a distorted reality held by glass and your mind. tripsis
I would not suggest a sticky. They are SO annoying to sift through. I have a feeling that most people would post, expecting someone to get in touch with them, but no one would actually LOOK through the thread, if you know what I mean... I think a forum for all sorts of non-clan recruitment (looking for teams for monster hunting or whatever) would be fine. - 99 fletching | 99 thieving | 99 construction | 99 herblore | 99 smithing | 99 woodcutting - - 99 runecrafting - 99 prayer - 125 combat - 95 farming - - Blog - DeviantART - Book Reviews & Blog
Clay_More12
I think Recruitment Forum/Looking for a Clan Forum would be best. Divine Forces | #DF on irc.seersirc.net | Most Motivated | http://rs-df.com/forums
PoorLepRecon
I was thinking Help and Advice as the request for a partner sticky is there if I remember correctly. I think it would be along the same lines as that? I was thinking the same thing. It would fit nicely by the Champions/Heroes partner sticky. Rainy_Day
I'm not so sure we should be creating a forum for it just yet. We should see how things go, and currently, there isn't a large demand for it. The idea of a stickied topic in H&A sounds appropriate to myself though. Gandorf61
Why not just use the Runescape Events forum? There's barely any activity in it as it is and people have posted to get monster hunting groups together before. Dungeoneering recruitment would fit perfectly there imo. Mirror
Gandorf, that was what I was thinking after I thought about it more. My only worry is spamming it up. Maybe make if formal and set times for raids (with the topic owner) rather than just finding anyone anytime kind of thing. A reflection is just a distorted reality held by glass and your mind. jjjon123
I was thinking more along the lines of a universal recruitment forum for dungeoneering, BA, and dagganoth teams ect...In the mean time, it would be nice if someone set up a dungeoneering partnering clan-chat. 1,000 F2P Total Level Reached 10/8/10 ! Sentry_Wolf
Personally, I believe a Clan chat by itself would be sufficient enough for organising groups, discussing tactics and Dungeoneering in general, but then again it all boils down to popularity of the concept. Then again, theres more room for users taking on this responsibility then an official chat for it. As there is no other official chat for Tip.it and you don't want to give the impression of stealing members from already formed Tip.it based Clan chats. I wouldn't be a fan of a forum strictly for the purpose of recruiting as I don't think it would be a major hit. A sticky/posting in the Events and Gathering forum seems more appropriate as suggested above. But as I said I would be leaning more towards the Clan Chat idea itself. Tim
I would not suggest a sticky. They are SO annoying to sift through.
