iPhone games and apps

Is anyone on tip.it an iPhone/iPod touch user? Please tell me some good apps (idc about the price), my iPhone is starting to get boring. :smile:

Can you Jailbreak, or are you on 3.1.3?

In terms of Apps:

• Tap Tap Revenge - Kinda like Guitar Hero
• Touch Grind - Like a virtual Tech Deck.
• Call of Duty: Zombies - Just like the real one.
• Doodle Jump - Fun, and addictive. Typical bounce game.
• Plants Versus Zombies - So much fun. Played this for hours.
• Dungeon Hunter - RPG like game, fairly easy, but fun.
• Grand Theft Auto: China Town Wars - Exactly as it sounds ;)
• Rolando 2 - Fun game that has a few hours of game play in it.
• Pocket God - You are the god, and you can kill, and do all sorts of things to these little primitive people

Ouchy, it's possible to have 3.1.3 and still jailbreak, provided you stored the SHSH files on a previous jailbreak such as 3.1 or 3.1.2. To do so in Cydia down the bottom of the page when you first open Cydia click on Make My Life Easier.

 

Some games that I reccomend:

 

• Doodle Jump - Rather fun and addictive.
  
• Fieldrunners - When you absolutely positively have to play the best tower defence game, accept no substitutes.
  
• Flight Control - I can't really think of anything to write, other than get it. it's awesome.
  
• Hero of Sparta - Really fun hack and slash game.
  
• Peggle - Fun and addictive game, then again all Pop Cap games are.
  
• Plants vs Zombies - WARNING: more addictive than crystal meth.
  
• Pocket God - Really fun and a good way to waste that 5 minutes while waiting for class to end/the bus to arrive,
  
• Zenonia 2 - Sequel to the No. 1 RPG for the iPhone.

Jet Car Stunts - Really, really well made racing game.

Soosiz - Fun and original platformer.

Angry Birds - Ridiculously fun.

Plants versus Zombies - Best game on the iPhone IMO.

iMusic Puzzle - Music game that plays songs from your music library, and you need to arrange the samples in the correct order. Lots of fun.

Tumbledrop - Very fun physics game.

Love Love - Tetris with a twist. Great music.

I've had mine for quite a while, played tons of games. Some of the best are Plants Vs. Zombies and CoD: Zombies. Monopoly: Here and Now is pretty good too. And Doodle Jump of course.

 

However, I do not understand the appeal of Pocket God whatsoever.

There is:

Hawx (Flying planes, shooting things, good ol fun).

I Am T-Pain (Changes your voice, amuses you for around 30 minutes before you realise you sound like an idiot!).

iDaft (if you like Daft Punk).

Angry Birds (Firing birds using a sling at various situations - quite addictive tbh).

 

Those are about the only fun things I use, except the norm of Skype, MSN, etc. :razz:

I've not got it, but have seen it played. It's basically like the PS1 versions of FF (like FF7). It's alright I suppose. :razz:

Jailbreaking is a process that allows iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch users to run any code on their devices, as opposed to only that code authorized by Apple. Once jailbroken, iPhone users are able to download many applications previously unavailable through the App Store via unofficial installers such as Cydia. A jailbroken iPhone or iPod Touch is still able to use and update apps downloaded and purchased from Apple's official App Store.

 

It allows things such as multitasking, customization, and a myriad of other tweaks. I finally succumbed to jailbreaking after the home screen became too bland. I quickly found that it was well worth it; I wish I had done it sooner. On the flip side, jailbreaking voids your warranty, should you have your device serviced while it is jailbroken. However, your device can easily be restored to its factory condition [or restored through backup] via iTunes, negating any such detriments to your warranty. It also drains the battery much quicker than a locked device, depending on how many themes and such you have installed.

I wouldn't jailbreak, my mate got his screen blackscreened and frozen due to jailbreaking, my brother was about to do it and he searched up Google and a few people also mentioned the same problem what my mate had.

That's a rarity, I've jailbroken mine and about 4 friends' iPods, they all work fine.

 

Jailbreaking is totally worth it to anyone wondering.

As one who has jailbroken a lot, I'd really have to recommend it.

 

Not wanting to steer off topic, if you do jailbreak make sure you get SBSettings and Winterboard.

Some of the apps I use a lot is.

Just Light- Free app that all it does is produce a really bright white light. Useful for when you need a light.

Tap Tap Revenge 3- Almost like guitar hero.

Labyrinth 2- This is a maze game. You have a ball you need to et from one part of the maze to the other.

Shanghai- Matching game.

SpawnHD- One of my favorite apps. Can provide many hours of fun.

LockNRoll2- A fun dice game.

Pocket god- You are the God of Pygmies. Do anything that you can do in the game.

Also this one I have since I have iTouch.

It's called Textfree. Now you do have pay I think 6$ for it but if you have Wifi in the area, you can send text massages to anyone with this app.

I do remember that actually. I dont know if there is an app for that, but I'll search for one to see what I can find.

Does anyone know of an app that lets you you select multiple photos to send to your e-mail? I have a batch of over 100 photos that I need to send to my mail, and doing it manually for each one is going to suck.
