Graiskye
Well I am 72 CLvl. The combat trio are all at or over 60, I have mid forties for ranged and Magic. Do you all think I might have what it takes to compete the Lost City quest. If I could take food I would have tried it all ready, but not. I have read that it is possible to range or Mage the last beast, so that is what I was thinking of. Suggestions, recommendations ? Should I work my combat stats up to 70 first ? Thanks Tippers.-G. Vulxai
You should be able to do it without a problem. I think those sound about the levels I did it at (if not combat a tad lower). Yes it is possible to range or mage. I believe you can take runes on the island? It's been years since I've done it, however. If you can bring runes, obviously just do that, don't need much else, bring enough as you'll have to kill some Zombies for a hatchet (possibly more than one zombie, it varies), as well as the final beast. If you choose to range, I believe you can also bring arrows, and then just bring fletching equipment to make armor and a bow once you're on the island. ~ Proud Father ~ Proud (Currently Deployed) Army National Guardsmen ~ Proud Lakota ~ Retired Tip.It Crew ~
SirIzenhime
considering you can beat it at like level 30 easily, the question here is why haven't you done it yet? Tim
You can take runes with you. I did it at only level 30-40. Popoto.~<
Graiskye
Awesome. Just what I was hoping I would hear. I thought I probably could I see enough people running around with Dragon Stuff, and they are not that high a level. As for why I haven't done it yet, I have only been a member for a little under two weeks, and I am just getting used to a much bigger world. There are a lot of things you need to take care of if you want to be a success in this game, one of the first for me upon becoming a member, was to find a way of making a sizable wad of cash in a short time, preferably while training the combat trio, at a high rate of speed. Having taken care of that, Chaos Druid, Flesh Crawlers, et al....(I am surely open to any PM's of good spots to train and earn at the same time, we could compare notes), so upon gettinng some cash together, an ongoing project for sure, I turn to quests, and Lost City was one of the first on the must do list. Thanks again, for all the replies gang, do have a great week. Laters,-Grais. Did you know half the worlds population is below average intelligence? Graiskye
Well I just slayed the lost spirit(?). It was a very easy fight, could have accomplished it long ago. Went full mage. Got several hits in the 100-120 range, or more using the lvl 41 Wind Blast,so the fight did not last long, I took less then 40 pts damage. Thanks.-G. Fekambard
The final 'boss' fight in LC is probably the easiest boss fight ever.
Tempest_Mike
I did it at lvl23 once, you just take runes and hide behind a mushroom, unless they've nerfed it.

Graiskye
Hey no worries on trying to make me feel inferior....lol. <_< I am sure this thread may help another some day, so its all good. One thing I find about questing is it forces you too train skills you might otherwise not. Got the spirit killed, and yes I am sure I could have accomplished it around 30 levels ago, but alas, just became member, so it is a moot point, but after killing Spirit I discovered I needed 31 crafting to craft the staff! So it was off to the GE to buy leather, I usually like to DIY, but in some cases like this Ill just buy the levels. Quickly got my crafting up to 33(used up all the leather I bought)and completed quest. Bonus.-Grais. Did you know half the worlds population is below average intelligence?
