Well, first of all, in my view, going by my tastes, I'd go for XBL over RS simply because I am a big FPS and action game player, despite the fact that I'm addicted as hell to RS. Same goes for the fact that I choose X-box over PS because X-box has better FPS games (like Halo and Unreal Championship 2), whereas PS has more quality RPG's. Pus, since I'm American, and a pretty patriotic one at that, I naturally pick the American developer over the Japanese developer.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

But Sony has nothing to do with this...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Nor do my specific tastes...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Your choice should depend on your own tastes, if you like shooters and action games more, go with XBL, if your more into slower paced, or RPG games, then go with RS. But seeing as you literally have an X-box 360 with your name on it, go ahead and make use of it; get XBL.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

As for all the people out there that call the X-box 360 X-box 1.5, well, think about it, the consoles are getting to the point, and I believe Nintendo already stated this, they are getting to the point where you cannot simple revamp the graphics, as they are already beginning to smear the line between computer generated graphics and photo-realism.

Call of Duty 2 is so amazing. Support from anything via Xbox Live is the best I've ever seen in comparison to anything. I just downloaded TONS of stuff for phr33 pl0x.

 

 

 

Online is sweet.

 

 

 

The 360 it self looks awesome.

 

 

 

It's so powerful. I haven't experienced so much as one little jump in the Framerate for anything, no matter how much was going on onscreen.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Oh yes, Halo 2 is terrible. It takes no skill. Go back to Halo 1.

Dude, sad thing is, I'm better at Halo 1 than I am at Halo 2, and Halo 2 is harder. The pistol is a balenced weapon; everyone has one to begin with. But if you can't use the pistol, and you're one of those wussies that need Halo 2-esque autoaim, you'll get dominated by people who can. Play with any Pro or well-known player and they'll tell you how much better Halo 1 is.

I don't play RS because it's cutting edge (although the graphics are pretty good for a browser-based game). I play because it's somewhat mindless and fairly relaxing, and I can still chat say, on mIRC while I play. I can also play a little bit and leave it for a little while-- as a dad and husband, my time is more limited. I'm also poor and cheap.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

If I had the money for it, I'd invest heavily in hardware for PC games. Game consoles are very convenient, but last I checked, PC games can do more and handle more than console games.

Though, I think the 360 isn't going to satisfy me. From what I've heard and seen, it appears to basically be an x-box 1.5, as opposed to 2. It's microsoft, so it's not like they're gonna die from doing something like that, so.. yea... I'm an oldschool nintendo fan, I love the company to death, but.. I just have a feeling they're going to flop, majorly. I just hope that they still lead the handheld system. omg, are u insane? Xbox 1.5?!?!? The Xbox 360 is about 6 times as good as an Xbox one and the launch games dont even come close to what can feasibly be done with the 360's power. Same has been true of every other game console out there, i mean, splinter cell 3 has way better graphics then say, fusion frenzy. fusion frenzy was a launch game and splinter cell 3 just came out a few months ago.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And on the subject of nintendo, they used to be great and awesome, but when the gamecube came out, it just showed the turning point in which nintendo started to really suck, and microsoft and sony got way better them.

BALANCED is a word i would describe it with too, unlike halo 1 where the pistol is the only weapon anyone ever used because it acted more like a rifle then some sidearm pistol. if u dont like auto aim in halo 2 and u want a challange then just TURN IT OFF!!!!!!!!!!! God, its so freakin simple.

As an owner of all 3 of the older systems(xbox, ps2 & gc), I despise mircosoft for charging for online play.. The biggest company out of all three has to charge??? I've had xbox live.. For 7.95 a month.. for one decent exclusive game.. halo(2) and it isn't even that great(well, for this generation for fps, it's definately tops, but compare it to the gameplay of goldeneye..)

 

 

 

Anyways.. Anyone who wants to disagree with me.. any other reasonable game you can name you can get for ps2 and play online for free.. (whoop-de-doo, the graphics are a little better

Jagex is not going to intentionally release a new update to "compete" with microsoft... it just isn't feasable, the markets are completley different.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

and its kind of harsh do do a price comparison saying rs is $60 while live is $50, because ur not accoutn for the $300-400 price of the the system, where as runescape runs on pretty much any non-ancient computer (u cood probly get one for under $300 that would run rs lol), and most people already have a computer

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

lol true i had a old IMB computer (mid 1990's) and it had windows ME 128 Mb DDS Ram 4Mb of video memorie... (used computer built in graphics card which mad it 4Mb and took 4Mb from the Ram) and a 400 Mhz CPU...

Please explain to me how to turn off Autoaim, aside from using Action Replay (which I've done, by the way) and Soft/Hard modding your box.
