Nifflin
The best you can do is something where you lose only a bit of money and do mtk, herb runs and magpies on the side to break even. PM me in game anytime It's a lot easier then that for an idiot to sound smart on the internet. That's exactly what you're doing right now... just saying. Using my spreadsheet calculators IN SIG vvv Superheating mithril atm is a 2gp GAIN per bar and steel is only a 6gp loss per bar.Just buy all the ores and runes (use a fire staff) and then sell the bars at the end. And go get the coal bag  1,000 F2P Total Level Reached 10/8/10 ! Zimbu
I managed to buy some splitbark gauntlets today for a small alching/flipping profit. Splitbark, blue dhide and red dhide often dip way below their alch prices.
Cptbaker08
Dragon Plateskirts, Medium Helms, and Shield Halves all have a market price around their alch price. Try to buy below their alch price minus a nature rune. Also Rune Javelins have a low gp/exp as well, making them a good item to buy in bulk. Sinkhan
The main problem with items like dragon weapons and armour is just getting a large number of them. Not only is there a GE limitation that allows only 100 of each armour and weapon bought every 4 hours, the fact is that there often aren't 100 dragon plates or battle axes on the market. I don't know what your fletching level is, but a pretty good way to amass a lot of alching items is to buy unstrung yew or magic bows (long or short) and some bow strings, string them yourself, and then alch. But of course in the end, RSFreak has the best suggestion so far with superheating. Something to fill my sig with until I find a replacement. Also check out my blug

There should always be people selling the items that Cptbaker and I stated. [hide=Stats][/hide]"One death is a tragedy. Ulysses
depends on whether you craft or buy your nature runes...air battlestaves, rune javelins, rune hatchets give slight profit if you craft your own..try buying items below mid price if you are buying your nature runes 'Time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time.' You could have easily sold those runes for profit, and you end up losing that potential profit instead of real money. [hide=Stats][/hide]"One death is a tragedy.
