Do the hiscores need a new category?

Hey guys, this is a simple question, do we need a new hiscore category that's just purely "XP"? This would allow us to really see who is #1 in runescape (I think it's Aasiwat based on cp)

I only say this because, as most of you guys know, the max level for dungeoneering is 120. I thought (incorrectly) that the hiscore cap might only show it at "99", but still have the actual level in parantheses.

 

What do you guys think?

I think you overestimate how long it will take people to get 120 dung :)

Yeah, without batch 2, I still think it will take a good bit of time though.

I think you overestimate how long it will take people to get 120 dung :)

But would they truly be #1? You would still have the case of people using faster skills to get up in the highscores faster.

eh id rather the highscores be based on a skill that has u do everything in rs to see whos the best .

 

but they gotta do something about leeching maybe every 3-6 mins u dont kill something or solve a puzzle counts as a death?

well consider this, slayer takes ~400 hours to 99 depending on how quickly you can train it

runecrafting is slightly quicker @ ZMI but less fun and doesn't net you xp in other stats.

 

right now it would take ~2,000 hours to 120 dungeoneering without batch 2

but it looks like the xp rate increases somewhat exponentially with prestige.

someone said it doubles about every 10 prestige?

 

If that's true we're looking at more around 800 hours to 120 dungeoneering once batch 2 is here.

would that really be all that bad?

considering it's probably the funnest skill out there right now?

I think it would be cool to have a category like that, but it wouldn't really show who is actually "the best".

All they have to do is make the XP column sortable and your wish is granted.

I personally am going for 200M attack exp simply because I'd love to see my exp set in concrete and have that rank forever. Also it shows your dedication to that particular skill, how much effort you went through etc. people have their different reasons for getting 200M exp in a skill though, and that's mine ^_^

They can keep the total xp next to the total level, too, but....

 

I feel too often people tell me they are better than me since they have a higher total level, but...In a lot of those cases, I have much more xp than them...

i wouldnt mind seeing how badly i rank in total exp compared to the rest of rs lol
