May 11, 201016 yr I recently got a new laptop (keep in mind my moms Dell overheated and we had to replace the hard drive and I encountered a similar problem with that). Essentially its pretty beats hardware wise and shouldn't have problems running Runescape. When in game there's no "interenet lag" per-say, like i gave move about the game just fine without experiencing lag. Its the visual elements that have problems loading quickly. First example: Teleported to seers, took a minute for the stone wall texture, and tree textures to load. Second example: Opened the magic tab, took a minute for all the icons to load up. Why aren't these things appearing instantly like they normally should? Any ideas? ^^ClicK^^"I backed my car into a cop car the other dayWell he just drove off sometimes life's ok...Alright already we'll all float onAlright don't worry we'll all float on" - Isaac BrockDays Hunting:4 - Kingly Imps Caught:2Money Earned: 4.5-5m

May 12, 201016 yr Did you go there again aftewards? The first time you do something in Rs, it loads slower since it's fully downloading the things, not taking it from the Rs cache that's normally on your computer. That's why it's usually faster, you used to have all those textures and all in a rs cache folder.
May 13, 201016 yr [HIJACK] While it's still fresh in my mind, does anyone know if it's possible to modify these textures to create some weird effects (on my computer only, of course)? Or is it all encrypted and stuff by jagex? [hide=Stats][/hide]"One death is a tragedy. A million deaths is a statistic."-Joseph Stalin
May 15, 201016 yr If my suspicions are correct, that would be like gouging out your eye because your toe itches. Surprisingly effective. All of sudden you don't notice the itch on your toe.
