November 26, 200520 yr I'd be thoroughly screwed in morrowind if I didn't read the manual / Even then I still have to pause to see what some status symbol is well, when i played through the first time i didnt have a manual (not the same reason as the topic starter, but someone else hit it on the nose :lol: ), but its not that hard to figure out. of course i never used any magic except mark/recall, i was fighter based. after 300 hours into the game, with everything possible maxed out (respect goes past 100? i got to 108, i dont know what the top is), i tried magic and it took about a minute to figure out. i did lie about not reading manuals though, i just looked at my collection of games, and i saw neverwinter nights. i had no idea how d&d worked, in fact i didnt know the game was d&d based until halfway through when i read the manual about something. then i read the whole manual (book really) to figure out how it works.

On another topic I find most EA game manuals to be very very lacking (I'm looking at you Burnout 3) There were several key features such as knowing that x4 and x2 bonuses don't stack that should have and could have been included I just posted something! ^_^ to the terrorist...er... kirbybeam.
