Soooo I just discovered that my ex is in another relationship already. We were together for two and a half years, and we've been broken up for nearly two months. Interesting. I looked at this guy's Facebook that she hangs out with a lot in Italy (she's studying abroad), and his Facebook says they're in a relationship. I felt that roiling heat in my stomach and chest for about a minute, then it went away. I can't believe I'm not angry or sad. It just . . . is. I think I knew, in a way, but didn't really dwell on it. Funny how intuition can tell you so much. I should listen to it more often.

 

That's life. I haven't exactly been abstaining from the opposite sex myself, and I can't realistically expect that of her. But a relationship? Already? Very interesting. Regardless, I have no occasion to dwell on the past. I'll sleep peacefully tonight.
