Well we can, I don't mind the system, though the money is a bit annoying, I kind of want to play a more RP involved one, ones where what you do actually effect crap.

 

Example, the first thing I did on medieval hegemony was to create new ships and take over the English channel and rename it the French channel

 

Now I would of liked that to make sure that England's navy power would have decreased, and also that I had a front that could only be defended with a minimal amount of ships, because my ships have already moved in the channel.

 

Another example

 

I increase my iron output, meaning that iron would become much cheaper, and all iron rich countries would become poorer.

 

Another example

 

My country has a high import of diamond, I take over one of my importers cities, and so I can survive with their diamond mine, and not have to pay for diamond, meaning that they embargoe'd me then I would not be at a disadvantage.

I'm p damn sure Archi was here for the second half of V1, and all of 2 and 3..

I've actually wanted to do a hegemony like that for awhile (the closest we got was the economic warfare in sere's hegemony)

One, Two and Three worked without him and the game hasn't even started how can anyone complain?

One and two were the same, just a continuation on a different thread. Archi was the mod for most of the second half of one. He was the mod for two, and the mod for three.

Also, to decide the mod, how about this. We see who wants to be mod, and then we vote or make a consensus. Sound good?

Meh. I'm all for Hegemedieval, but that's cancelled for now. Normal Hegemony requires too much... research.

I want to be a mod, I'll write up a new system, and see if it's okay with everyone, but I would like to play to, so battle system, every battle not with me in will be done by me, battles with me in will be done by another mod, who I will appoint.

The problem is that every game with a mod who was playing gets complicated when that occurs. You would be a great mod if you'd didn't play.

Hmph. Tech, could you give permission for someone to make a new MaDe? I probably wouldn't, seeing as I exasperate people so with my constant failed experiments.

Good idea. I'm afraid of the medieval superweapons he would come up with.

Why not Hegemony? I think the system I've devised works well with the roleplayish part of it, since you have to think about your decisions and how they will affect others.

I vote medieval hegemony, and as the greatest mods don't play, I will not like to mod, unless I would be able to play too.

actually, i would prefer the power of a necromantic item. but, bein.. oh, i know. how bout this. we can kindoms of certain speicies, and undead count as a species. you cant ressurect the dead on the spot, though..

If we introduce magic I will be mother [bleep]ing sauron! FEAR MY RINGWRAITHS! Though how would we control and limit magic? Possibly make the need for spell books to be created? Divine magic? Use sacrifices (human or otherwise) to power large spells?

I like this idea for magic.

 

Perhaps it's powered by sacrifice, adhering to faith, and tapping into natural power points? It seems easier to limit than WMDs, and would provoke more creative responses.

I can think of some super weapons, I've seen designs of some on the internet that can be done in medieval period.
