Unless someone creates a route through the wilderness to the Pacific, the armies will have to pass through Mongolian territory regardless. It just changes how long the route is through Mongolia. Also it is possible you can pass through a different Mongolian lord's land, meaning you could find a sympathetic ear or one that isn't your enemy.

I gave him a good deal, free land and IAG. His offer was fair but it was just unacceptable due to what I would get in return for the contract requires me to have that land.

 

Also being a king of a land, you're generally annoyed when you don't get your way, as kings normally have a god complex anyway.

 

And that makes no difference to me Retech, I may not be their closest ally but the Mongols don't HATE me as much as they do Kiev, Rocco is probably safe too.
