What boss should I start with?

I want to do some boss hunting, but I dont want to die. What would be a good boss to start with that is relatively easy for my stats, that doesnt take a lot of waiting to get to or world hopping. Thanks stats should now appear when I post.

Oh and I have about $130M in cash in bank, I normally use torags, but I have guthans, dragon boots, baroows gloves, whip, DFS, but I also have a BGS, and a fury, oh and I only have an obby cape, I tried Jad and died when I got to him, and I really dont like trying for fire cape cause it takes too darn long, maybe when I get 93 slayer I will try again

I am trainging Herblore by MTK, I am going to use the 150K from one of the last quests to level prayer to 77ish, and I have over 10K charms in my bank for summoning. So I can do that anytime.

What boss should I hunt for money and fun that I can do relatively easily and without a lot of hoops to jump through?

^ But that doesn't matter at all because it isn't hard to get a drop, and there are plenty of high-value drops. Plus it's easy and fun and is a great starter boss. Oh, and what boss isn't heavily based on rarity anyway? :|

DK's are also relatively easy if you go with a decent team. Your first trip will probably be a bit rough but once you get the hang of it it's awesomely simple and a great (yet long) way to do dagannoth tasks.

Oh, and one more: Tormented Demons. They're actually a bit challenging, even if you're already used to them. But they're great because they're so easy to solo and easy to get to. I would even say that it's easier to solo them than kill them with a team, but that's just me.

thanks rangeor, but I have absolutely ZERO interest in a team, I dont know anyone who plays and dont want to be on anyone else's schedule, it is solo or nothing for me.

I tried TD when they first came out, but it was horrible, I dont like anything where you have to hide or safespot. I just want to melee straight up no luring, safe spotting or anything like that.

Your stats are really at 'duo' level for most things, I mean you can try soloing some of the GWD bosses but unless you get extremely lucky I wouldn't imagine it would be worth the time/trouble. Like i said though feel free to try?

Barrows seems like a very nice idea for you though, your stats are awesome for pretty much anyway you decide to do barrows, and with your budget you can really maximize your trips.

DKS is not out of the question. Solo maging (Rex), but you have to either a) find a sucider, some people will even do this for like 10-30k I'd imagine doesnt take but a few minutes for someone to help you get in. Or you can try x-logging.

What stats would I need to get up to not be at "du" level? I am 97 defense and closing in on 98, how much higher can I get it to be at "solo" level?

92 herblore 95 prayer

WOW!!! that would take a long time and a ton of money. especially prayer

Not to mention range is used to solo Amardyl and DKS. I'm not knocking your stats your better off in most things than me anyway. I'm just helping you, point is to really profit from many of the bosses you need more closely maxed out stats dealing with ALL combats.

Like others suggested, Barrows could be good. Bandos would also be a good option.

Another odd sort of boss you could do is the giant mole. You can kill him probably 10+ times a trip at your stats and equipment, and the money is decent. 100 yew logs are a common drop, and you're guaranteed at LEAST around 16k per drop, usually quite a bit more. It will be easy for you, but it's a boss nonetheless.

TDS would be your best bet. I can take you some time to teach u the lures and prayer changes. I thought i would be awful at first to, but after a couple kills you'll get it and then its the easiest, and some of the fastest money you'll make on runescape.

In other words: We got a ban hammer in varrock mines. It's jackin yo [censor] bots, slappin yo macros up, tryna ban em, so ya'll need to hide yo scripts, hide yo clicks, and hide yo logs cause they bannin errbody up in here.

@ above, TD's is excellent (if not the best) GP for a player soloing, but he said he didn't want to change weapons, or armor ect.. So they are out of the question.

In all honesty that pretty much leaves the Giant Mole, or Barrows as your main options.

Barrows is a long term "boss-hunt" in that you won't get rich quickly, but in the long term it is quite profitable for the time spent (Around 1m an hour on average depending on which strategy you use).

The best thing about barrows is, it is always solo, so its only dependent on you. Nobody to fight for spawns, no need to world hop, no need to change anything you don't want to. The strategies are also very flexible, you don't have to sit within 6 squares and just grind for hours upon hours. It sounds like this would be prefect for you based on your desires, and I would also recommend it too, as Barrows is just plain fun.

I did barrows a long time ago, but my biggest problem was once I got to the chest, I didnt know how to start over without teleing. If I knew that, it would be a lot easier. I am surprised I cant do BAndos GWD, I thought everyone was going to say that.

I guess the next question is what should I work on to be able to solo a bigger time monster? I saw a suggestion about prayer and herblore, I am training herblore through MTK and by fishing for cash. How do you train prayer? The only thing I have done so far it bury bones while slaying, but I stopped doing that a while ago cause big bones are only 15 exp and everytime I get a random I do exp lamp and use on prayer. I plan on once I get 75 prayer doing the quest that gives you 3 150K exp lamps and using them on prayer and that should get me up to like 78.

You need 75 construction to build a gilded altar, but you can use tea and the crystal saw to build one at 69. Altaring is around 1k bones per hour, more if you pay attention I suppose. You get 3.5 times the xp you'd get for burying, so 252 xp per dragon bone, which are around 6k each now.

On tormented demons: so far a fun boss at 82 melees and 79 range. I suck in every way, but I got 2 effigies in 3 kills which is about 70k free prayer xp . Although you say you don't want to do much switching, I'd recommend checking it out.

On looting multiple chest per run: I think home teletab, recharge prayer, and a Kharyll portal allows Barrows runs without using any prayer pots. I'm not sure how good/fast it is though.

Finally, did you kill Nomad yet? Because 100 zeal at level 78 is about 270k prayer xp as well. Getting that extra 30 zeal to take the 10% bonus is really worth it.
