Obtaurian
Can anyone give me a detailed guide on collecting phoenix feathers? I know it has something to do with a spirit larupia. EDIT: To clarify, I mean the feathers you use for super antifires. To put it bluntly, [bleep] off.
Aiel
I think you use a spirit kyatt and run to the pheonix lair, (slightly SW from the teleport I think), then the feathers are inside. DK drops (solo/LS): 66 hatchets, 14 archer rings, 13 berserker rings, 17 warrior rings, 12 seerculls, 13 mud staves, 7 seers ringsQBD drops: 1 kite, 2 visages, 4 dragonbone kits, 3 effigies, lots of crossbow partsCR vs. CLS threads always turn into discussions about penis size....It's not called a Compensation Longsword for nothing.I've sent a 12k combat mission to have Aiel assassinated (poor bastard isn't even Pincers-tier difficulty). manitstinks
You can use the broom from the witch, 1 space for money, and light gear. Tele with the broom, bribe, collect, broom, bank, and repeat. Didn't even know you could use larupia.
Manafi
With a Rope in inventory, summon a Spirit larupia. Teleport to Feldip using the larupia and run north-west to the eagle cave to use the Eagle transport system. (Eagles' Peak quest must first be completed and the Feldip eagle cave must first be made accessible.) Use the rope on an eagle to go to the Eagle's Peak eagles; then use the rope on a desert eagle to go to the desert. The cave exits at the phoenix's region. For fast banking, use a Ring of duelling to teleport to Castle Wars and then use the larupia to repeat the process. (Alternatively players can use the Ring of Kinship for free banking.) Guest TrixStar
Wait.....what feathers are you talkng about? Why am I thinking of the one in the desert for super antifires?
Solartide
What's that avatar everyone is using? Is that from Runescape? I don't play the game, so wouldn't know, I made my own, did I do this right?
Obtaurian
What's that avatar everyone is using? Is that from Runescape? I don't play the game, so wouldn't know, I made my own, did I do this right? It's an arcane spirit shield. I've had it as my avatar forever, though mine is in the original, dull color. Thanks for the replies. To clarify, I was asking about the phoenix feathers used to make super antifires. To put it bluntly, [bleep] off.

Aiel
apparently I was wrong. I was under the impression they were in the phoenix cave with the D&D. also the avatar is an arcane spirit shield, morningrise's is the original and mine is the updated version. Troacctid
I believe slayer ring -> fairy ring is marginally faster than the larupia. Read my blog | Follow me on Twitter | Track my XP
Sy_Accursed
I believe slayer ring -> fairy ring is marginally faster than the larupia. Nope. Fairy ring is much further from the eagles nest. Plus its quite obvious 1 tele > eagles > desert is faster than3 teles > eagles > desert (3 teles becuz slayer ring, zanaris, then out) Also to clarify:Herblore requires phoenix feathers, gained from the desert phoenix.Summoning requires phoenix quills from the D&D Operation Gold Sparkles :: Chompy Kills :: Full Profound :: Champions :: Barbarian Notes :: Champions Tackle Box :: MA RewardsDragonkin Journals :: Ports Stories :: Elder Chronicles :: Boss Slayer :: Penance King :: Kal'gerion Titles :: Gold Statue

That is AGES away from the phoenix, much much much too far to be faster than eagle method. I mean look at distances:Blue is roughly the area phoenix wanders in most of the tiem, I know it can go further.Red is the fairy ring minimum run, green is eagle. Troacctid
That's a rather misleading picture, seeing as you didn't take into account the distance between the larupia teleport spot and the jungle aerie + the time it takes to rope two eagles and watch the animation. Sy_Accursed
The animation takes no time at all and the larupia tele spot is like right beside the jungle cave. It is the quickest method thats why all the decent feather collectors use it. D Jay99
I got about 800 feathers per hour using larupia method, both running from broom tele and fairy ring iwth yak got me like 650/h.

Your blue area is really rough. the phoenix always stays near the eagle cave. When I collected my 6500 feathers I used the broom and ran through shantay pass.
