pinayavi
what is TRUE L0VE in your own words? for me.. true love is when you have no pride at all to yourself other than pridefully/proudly saying that person is my gf/bf/wife/husband. you wouldn`t say anything to make yourself look & feel good but the other person bad. it`s when you don`t care what 0THER people say. not even a bit. Barihawk
Mutual affection: When you love her and she loves you equally, before you begin a relationship. True love can also form later in a relationship, but it is stronger in the first case. And whoamygod, the flashing flash ad is making me dizzy. My heart is broken by the terrible loss I have sustained in my old friends and companions and my poor soldiers. Believe me, nothing except a battle lost can be half so melancholy as a battle won. -Sir Arthur Wellesley
Poopingman
In my experience, there is no such thing as "love" or true love for that matter. Its just a heightened stage of lust ,the guy wants a piece, the girl succumbs to him acting like he really likes her for her. It cycles through, either ends quickly or after the guy has gotten what hes after, the girl is usually devastated, but for whatever reason, falls for the next guy etc. etc. etc. it goes on. Metal fans, check out my band!Still the King....

adthegreat-
A nice idea that can exist in theory but not in practice. If it were possible, it would involve never disliking anything your 'lover' did, and I don't beleive that's possible. Good topic though. Edit after reading bubsa's post: I don't think he neccessarily has to live a lonley life. You could argue that if you beleive in love you're leading a life of ignorance, and whats worse? You could argue that if you beleive in love you're leading a life of ignorance, and whats worse? (Rhetorical question, its opinion) Yup and it's a good point raised. I perhaps should have put, in my opinion: he will lead... I do feel though that everyone can find a love that's true. It won't happen sitting around on your bum all day, we all have go out there and find it. I think it's worth looking for. Just not now, I'm only 17 :P Although I've always said love is the only game you can't win. Ee gad I don't know where I stand on this one. I'm flip-flopping! This is how much you all raised for charity. Thank you.
Zibl
True Love in my opinion, can't be described. Why can't it be described? Because your love for the person can't be expressed in words. I guess it's just a gut feeling that you cannot explain or prepare for. No, he will just marry a girl like Kate from "Taming of the Shrew" and have a long, happy, and violent marriage. :P My heart is broken by the terrible loss I have sustained in my old friends and companions and my poor soldiers. Faux
True love for me is when you find the one you think you can spend the rest of your life with; someone who you can be comfortable enough to show your most embarassing sides; someone who you are happy to be with and think - 'i love being with this girl' without a second thought. True love lasts, it's what seperates it from lust. @pinayavi: Marunong ka magtagalog? Zibl
I don't try to attack your posts. Don't get too excited. I click on a post... read the topic, and the replies (most of them anyways). When I see one of your "mentally debatable" replies, I simply must make fun of it. I'd do it to anyone else trust me. So please don't think I'm singling you out.
