The second you think you've won is the moment you lose!

These revoultionee's hearts cry out for freedom! The Russian oppression shall last no more! You may take a mans home, you may take his belongings, trinkets from a nation built on lies and corruption! But you take a mans freedom? He shall rise up! Stronger than any force ever before concieved! He shall bathe in the blood of his enemies and he shall crush their steel with one swift blow!

Now I ask you Retech? Are you really in a good position right now

It's a REALLY big shaft.

I didn't catch fire, I used the can of hairspray as a flamethrower and pointed it at my arm.

how are you going to ignore my posts when I'm offering to let you live as my vassal in two weeks time?

Errr Icu? Catherine the Great (the empress of Russia) supports improving the lives of peasants. That's the whole reason that the nobles hate me in the first place.

I'm still going to try and negotiate with them, since war is never that good. Actually, I think that Prussia is in a better position. Their revolution basically ended before it began. :)

Well then you shouldn't have empowered your nobles then XD. You should slay every last one of them, and then wear their skin.

Nah, I'll just invite them to a grand feast and sooth them with large amounts of vodka.

Prussia is in a delicate position...Since it is trying to cause a revolution without anyone getting killed...seemingly while people send spies in to blow apart my country.

I doubt we have even seen the proper revolutionary army for Prussia yet

Personally I would have filled the wheel spokes with gunpowder and put a small flintlock in the connector rods...the force when the cannon is fired would cause a spark and blow the wheels off the cannon...

Wouldn't kill anyone, probably, but it would be funny to watch the enemy wonder what had happened.

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.

Wait, you can use spies?

Attention everyone! If I catch a single spy of yours, they shall be forced to wander in Siberia until their limbs fall off from cold. They must also only wear their underwear while wandering, for comical effect. Their limbs shall then be butchered and sold in the next meat shipment to your country.

If the spies I have in your country get caught...they deserve it.

In other news [redacted] beings sending secret cyphers to all of Russia's Military Commanders, as well as a bunch of random peasents which include the [redacted] spies in Russia....In Yellow envelope, with a big Black eagle on and the words 'WARNING THIS ENVELOPE CONTAINS SECRET SPY INSTRUCTIONS FOR AGENTS IN RUSSIA, IF YOU ARE NOT A SECRET AGENT WORKING FOR [redacted] THEN DO NOT OPEN THIS ENVELOPE.' Written in [redacted]

Mwhahaha, the perfect way of communicating with [redacted] spy ring.

-Portugal declares war on Austria-Hungary over its encraochment on territories in Australia that the Portugese government believed should belong to them.

-Portugal sails an army of 7,000 men over to Australia and attack the Austrian colonies there.

-Austrians retreat, Portugal takes over two of the colonies, and Austria raises its colonial militias to supplement their army that was in Australia.

Portugese army in Australia: 1k dragoons, 1k lancers, 2k fusiliers, 3k line infantry//2 two deckers, 2 frigates

Austro-Hungarian army in Australia: 1500 Imperial Guards, 2300 Curisassers, 3000 colonial militia

Edel, this is the last offer I'm going to make. Leave Australia or this will escalate.

You attacked me in Australia?

..........

I don't have any cannons in Australia, I have the army of Bitter in australia consisting of:

1513 Imperial Guard (bearing in mind 5% price bonus)

2300 Cuirassiers

My main army (Army of Vienna is in Austro-Hungary) has all the cannons, they are kept in AH.

How can my cannons be taken?

Yes, and Austria-Hungary decided to attack the Portugese army, so I could write a nice flowery report but the outcome is pretty obvious..

A-H army:

1500 Guardsmen

2300 Curiassers

Portugese Army:

1000 dragoons

1000 lancers

2000 Fusiliers

3000 Line infantry

1 Cannon

-Portugese army easily overlaps the Austrian line

-Austrian army has no leadership (no general assigned)

-Austrian army tries to retreat, covered by curiassers

-Portugese cavalry engages Austrian cavalry

-Portugese cavalry dies, but prevents the Austrian army from retreating

-Portugese infantry kill off the rest of the Austrian army

Result:

Tactical Victory - Portugal

Strategic Victory - Portugal

Casualties:

Austria-Hungary: Entire army (they will not be replenished since their regimental flags were taken)

Portugal:

1000 line infantry

1000 dragoons

1000 lancers

How can my cannons be taken?

It's just a random event. I figured that would make more sense than: "Oh hey gaise, we found a perfectly serviceable cannon in the woods randomly."

It makes less sense because my cannon army is over in AH, not in australia. I didn't bring any cannons to australia.

You didn't lose a single cannon, so why do you care?

But it's good to see you're more concerned about a random flavour event that gives Portugal a single cannon than the complete destruction of your Australian army.

Influential people within the Revolution ask the revolutionary writer from the last historical event to continue his work in different provinces, giving speeches, and spreading his writings. (Provinces marked in green on map)

500k Ducats are spent to purchase imported food, which will be spread to needy peasants within the provinces marked with a white dot.

Pamphlets continue being distributed, and new pamphlets detailing the injustices of how the nobility treat their workers on their estates and farms will be passed to those workers, and for those who can't read, revolutionaries with a gift for words will give speeches. This will happen in provinces marked with a purple dot. 1 million ducats will go to this.

Rocco and Edel I would hope you would both confine this war solely to australia (or else other people get dragged into this). The Netherlands declares disinterest about the proceedings as well.
