What is with this game? everytime i see a drop rate of an item, i need to multiply it by three before i have a chance of getting one. I did an elite scroll, got 150k, 150k for 7 puzzle boxes and 2 celtic knots. WHAT IS WITH THIS GAME. I died last night doing a different elite in Neizniot, where 15 ice trolls piled me, i d/ced and died. I went to cave horrors to get my black mask back, spent FIVE AND A HALF HOURS and no drop. on top of the 1000+ i;ve killed on slayer asignment to get one. WHAT IS WITH THIS GAME.

 

How about my luck at barrows? 168 dry runs, 168 dry runs, on top of a streak of 150+ as well.

 

Am i doing something wrong? i believe myself to be helpful and as polite as possible to everyone, follow the rules, when is my "luck" going to change?

once i walked across the street helping an old lady, tripped and scraped my arm on a hypodermic needle. I now have aids, the doctors give me 2 days to live.

I'm just reluctant to do anything luck related now (like boss hunting), and gave up barrows. Yesterday, went to camp metals for a clue, several hours later, nothing.

 

It happens to me all the time, I'm not bothered by it much anymore lol. Although I do wish sometimes our luck would suddenly turn for the better... :mellow:

I don't get that. Luck is a huge part of the game, and it doesn't just matter at bosses.

Like what? o noes i didn't get a rune full helm from greaters ;-;

 

Bosses are the only place where your reward entirely depends on one or a few very rare drops.

OT: Luck will change when it feels it's time to. It's just like karma. Karma doesn't follow me, it rides on my back. Right now, luck is following you, way behind. Soon enough it'll be on your back and you'll get your lucky break.

I guess, but doesn't it suck when you start out with bad luck and it just demotivates you lol. And who does barrows for just the runes? Aren't we all hoping for items to make the pay a little higher?

I don't get much luck on the higher "end" items, but I get a bunch of good seed drops, and when I LS with my buddys at BGW I usually get most of the medium items.

I hear ya, kid. My best drop from anything EVER was 146k. An obby shield. Don't even get me started about the other things. Basically, if i want it, i don't get it. Goes like that for me in real life too.

We all have our dry streaks, yeah some people are generally luckier than others but thats life. Just keep it up and i'm sure it'll pay off eventually.

Setting out EXPECTING an item or a decent drop will get you no where; It just brings you more rage when it dosen't drop what you want it to.

 

Just play for fun, Barrows for fun, MH for fun, and slowly these things come as a suprise instead of grinding to get it.

 

Well, That's what I do.

Get yourself a pair of avaiators and some kind of convertible american muscle car, then you'll be bad-ass and you'll be as lucky as you like :D
