Just lost in a totally [cabbage] way, the guy I was in the arena against must have encouraged or done some other thing every single time. And I wasted 2 charges on trying to beat him.

 

Does anyone know how he was doing damage to me, even on my turn? Because he did like 5 or 6 times.

God voice responds to a few key words, sometimes your hero listens. If he got really lucky and the hero listened every time it would have attacked on your turn.

 

In battle I believe there's only three words you can use:

Attack (normal attack) [worked]

Charge (no idea)

Destroy (strong attack) [worked]

 

Out of battle you can use:

Pray (makes hero pray) [worked]

Sacrifice (makes hero make a sacrifice to you) [worked]

Heal (Makes hero heal some HP) [worked]

Trade (Does get a response but hero won't go to town unless he has a good number of items in his inv, possibly needs to be full) [worked]

Quest (Makes the hero return to his quest) [worked]

Wake up (Makes hero wake up from sleeping) [worked]

Dig (Makes hero dig in the ground, can find gold sometimes) [worked]

 

Sacrifices increase your god power more than praying does, but costs gold

 

Neutral (Can use any time):

Examine"<item name>" (makes hero search the item, sometimes you might get gold, sometimes you might get another item, I recommend you don't try on rare items, you'll usually get a lesser value item) [worked]

 

Those are the commands i've experimented with, I put worked next to the ones that I did get to work for me. I've only heard about charge.

I just finished quest #6. Ranked 290 in creation.

I almost had my quest done, and then I dieded.

Another fight in the arena. I tried some of the commands, my hero did nothing. The other guy encouraged 3 times, so I know I'm going to lose. I told him he's a worthless sack of [cabbage] though.

 

Edit: And of course, then he prays. If I hadn't called him a sack of [cabbage] I could have encouraged him.

Apparently they can pray in the arena, yet to try it though.

If he's already going to attack then the attack command won't do anything.

do you currently have a quest? That may be the problem. From help it sounds like it requires a new quest

Well, it didn't go up, and since the bricks are already in a different location (no use carrying a Temple with you wherever you go) I assumed he found a brick, then used it to escape.
