Concept art is nice, final armour bland and boring :\

I loled irl after looking at how the armor is actually going to look. The actual designers of the in game clothing are CLEARLY different than the concept artists. They're so bad in fact, that they can't even imitate what the concept art looks like when there's a picture right there. Armor looks horrible rofl0l.

That's a bit harsh I think . It seems to match the concept art fairly well to me.

The main difference I can see is it doesn't have the same lighting on it, but light refletcing in a dynamic 3D environment, is totally different to drawing light reflecting of something in a static 2D picture. It depends on their being an apporpriate light source placed in the game world and a game engine which can figure out what to do with that light - rather than anything to do with the modelling of the set of armour.

Besides that there's one or two little details missing from the ingame armour, but minor enough that I only found them after studying both pictures for a while.

I agree, the light in the second picture isn't too flattering, as opposed to the concept, where it's orientated for the purpose of looking downright epic. I don't think the colours are vivid enough either, the game needs to use darker blacks to accent the coloured bits.

What I want for a really hard diary, are sunglasses. Yes, sunglasses. That would be one of the best updates EVER!

Yes I know there are double eyepatches, they're nowhere near as good as sunglasses would be.

What the hell?

No!

Yeah, just no.

Looks really nice.

Shame I'll never have 95 Prayer for a couple of years ;_;

Wonder what the reward bonuses are...

Is double nats boostable?

As in: 89 rc + 2 rc lvls boost from Oldak + nature altar tab.

I'll have all the requirements I can think off if this is the case. :shades:

Dont think so, but its possible to craft double natures below 91 without boosts.

I'd imagine it'd end up like the Fally Hard diary though.... Craft X amount of Nature runes = For sure needing 91.

Reacting impulsively and saying what's on your mind feels oh so good.. for a little, until you realize you just started WWIII.

What's funny/sad/pathetic is that we actually HAVE darker shades of black! In tons of places! The awesome concept drawing's blacks are dark as night, then they go and make the armour look dark grey-green. :wall:

I read that it did get shade it a bit darker, but I'm a bit weary about what they mean by "a bit". It's likely not enough still.

No snowflake in an avalanche ever felt responsible.

These look absolutely EPIC. Can't wait for these to be released. I'm interested as to what their stats will be.. Better than Bandos possibly..

I wouldn't count on that.

If you were being sarcastic, ignore my remark.

Never really been that much into making diaries, but if these rewards have crazy bonuses/perks, I guess I'll have to start getting my levels ready for them.

The stats of Varrock plate 3 are the same as a steel platebody, why would V4 be better than Bandos?

Going by the fact that the Varrock hard tasks aren't exactly that hard, the elite tasks seem to be of a much higher level requirement.

20 levels = jump from level 10 armour to level 65+?
