I could imagine an elite task for the Wilderness diary now; Solo the Corporal Beast. :D

id love that, finaly a way to proove to people that i solo corp =]

my bet is its not wildy, i bet the canifis/mort area will be the necklace, since ghostspeak was kinda the theme there when u first went

legs are prob deser elf or burthrope

im pretty sure that the wildy diary will give the achievment diray weapon, makes sence if you ask me, probably elite will be stats similar to dragon/barrows but have a realy sweet spec

I could imagine an elite task for the Wilderness diary now; Solo the Corporal Beast. :D

People would just FFA it for the reward

Also am I blind because I don't see anything about a 95 prayer requirement

Started free trade with 1.5m cash. 2 weeks later, have hit max cash 2x.

PvP drops: 359 Brawling Gloves, 11 Vesta's Longswords, 41+ Zaros/Ancient Statues

9 Dragon Full Helms, 3 Dragonfire Shields on the old PvP loot system

Brawler guide is being finished!

Oh, because it's impossible for jagex to detect who is doing the damage.... Solo corp is a great idea. The 95 pray, 93 slayer(is it really impossible to get a task with boosted stats?) and 96(91) fishing reqs are mentioned on the BTS september post.

First to 99 Farming on 27. September, 2005.

First to 3766 Port Score on 20. March, 2014.

The set looks AMAZING. Just to remind everyone, we currently have THREE empty slots for achievement diary items -- legs, amulet, and weapon. I'm hoping it'll be Morytania, Kharidian Desert, and the Wilderness. Those seem to be the most obvious choices. I know Morionic said those weren't voted on, but I can't imagine them choosing Burthorpe or the Gnome cities over such huge places as Morytania and the desert. That seems silly to me.

REALLY looking forward to the elite diaries now.

To put it bluntly, [bleep] off.

Hmm, not much info on the actual tasks but looks like I wont be doing the fishing one, not for at least a year anyway. 95 prayer was next on my list, probably cost even more now tho... Then again I haven't finished the current elite either

Kharidian Desert, or Morytania, doubt they'd do a Wilderness Diary.

neither kharidian desert nor morytania were on the list when jagex made a poll of "what should the next diary be"

the only two that were on that list, and havent been released, are Burthorpe and gnome stronghold.

Seeing as you get agility legs from the gnome stronghold agility course, i'd say gnome stronghold is most likely the leg diary.

Thats what I thought about gnome.

I am very certain one of the pieces will be gnome stronghold and possibly include elven lands, since that passage is so close.

Hm, I wonder which diary the legs are from..

Wilderness Please. :P

Hmmm... is it just me, or does the concept plate armour look too much like dungeoneering gear? :/

All armor lately looks like Dungeoneering items imo.

The set didnt look half bad, but I still like bandos's look more.

if by 'like Dungeoneering items' you mean 'detailed' lol

I guess I'm a bit more excited for the elite diaries now, although the rewards jagex mentioned don't really sound as good as the ardougne one

No, I mean like the kind of... well, shape armor has lately.

I've never been a fan of platebodies though, so that kind of biases my opinion on them a bit. :P

I love my robes/bandos/armadyl gear. |^_^|

Concept art is nice, final armour bland and boring :\

I loled irl after looking at how the armor is actually going to look. The actual designers of the in game clothing are CLEARLY different than the concept artists. They're so bad in fact, that they can't even imitate what the concept art looks like when there's a picture right there. Armor looks horrible rofl0l.

Hmm.. does this mean we should expect a whole new set of diaries that give legs?

Wow, underwhelming much? This was the perfect oppertunity for them to showcase their new graphics engine...glows, fire, smoke trails on armour (a la the new c wars shield). The in game shot looks worse than the new clothing update we just got. Is it too much to expect that RS actually keep up with the rest of the gaming community and have cool, unique looking armour?

This really gets down to the morals of cheating versus the morals of being forced to throw away your life [1000's of hours] to access content you enjoy

Isn't life about throwing away your life (a job) to access content you enjoy?

There's a piece of armor for each diary and there's no diary that gives out a leg armor, don't see how it's a bad question.

edit: re-read near the end of the blog when they mention it, nvm.

The diary didn't reveal much.

But alteast we know they're working on it, so hopefully, it's all released this year.

Its coming in September. :P

They havent started on the legs diary though, so I wouldnt expect that before next year sometime.

That's a bit harsh I think . It seems to match the concept art fairly well to me.

The main difference I can see is it doesn't have the same lighting on it, but light refletcing in a dynamic 3D environment, is totally different to drawing light reflecting of something in a static 2D picture. It depends on their being an apporpriate light source placed in the game world and a game engine which can figure out what to do with that light - rather than anything to do with the modelling of the set of armour.

Besides that there's one or two little details missing from the ingame armour, but minor enough that I only found them after studying both pictures for a while.
