God said it was that way.

It just happens, probably not randomly, but because is the most efficient way to do it. most things in nature happen to use the most efficient way to do things. if you happen to have a chemistry class(if you are in school age?), pay attention, elements have a tendency to fill they're "orbits"

let's just commit mass suicide after discovering that not everything in life can be explained. (that was a joke, probably a bad one, don't alarm please)

Meh.Too much effort, for no reason. Just like everything else in existence. Why does [cabbage] happen if there is no point? Like atoms making elements and elements making compounds, for what?

So I could type a sarcastic comment involving "Extenze" then delete it because I thought it was too edgey and not funny enough.

I told her there was a secret method to doing it - and there is - but my once nimble and agile fingers were unable to perform because I was under the influence.

I would laugh, not hate. I'm a male. :(

Since when was Ireland an island...? :wall:

I actually have a hobby of licking public toilet seats.

But that makes even less sense. Why would god even care?

Cause god plays runescape and he is an efficiency freak

I need to stop responding to these joke comments seriously :P But efficient in what sense? What is the goal?

maybe i should stop making joke comments, but what would be life without my internal fun. if you mean the efficient runescape, it's the way of playing to maximise exp gains, money and time spent, so you can get the most in less time.

the goal is 200m xp in all skills.

Now if you're not talking about runescape efficiency, nature uses the most efficient way to use the less possible energy while still having power to do things(i guess, i'm barely 16 and still haven't focuse a lot of my readins on this.)

I meant that if god were to do things as efficient as possible then what would be his reason for being efficient, what would be his goal?? Why use less energy if there is no real point in doing so?

he needs to finish the world's story before 2012.

For this kind of discussion i would prefer not to involve God(even though i brought him up), it's just nature's nature.

Eh. I can discuss by involving god or not, its still provides us with no answers for anything.

Even without any gods you can run into that infinite loop problem.

Yea, thats my point. Saying that there is or is not a god doesn't help with the questions about existence.

yeah, but involving God takes the discussion to another complexity, and involves believings that i really don't share nor care.

Inmensity of space can't be explained from this planet, we would need to explore and find the answers, but we can't, so we just sit, and make speculations about possibilities.

Even if we could explore and find answers, we would always find some other seemingly impossible to answer questions to ask.

Is "Time paradox" still a possible explanation for how the universe came to be?

Explain please.

1) Scientist invents time travel

2) Goes back in time to the beginning of the universe

3) Accidentally creates the universe

4) ?????

5) BECOMES A GOD

I honestly believe that when mankind becomes sufficiently advanced, we'll end up either creating life on an uninhabited planet or a new universe. And I like to think that's how the current universe/earthlife got started, some scientist who forgot to sterilize his equipment or something.

Needless to say, when they did that as a plot for Futurama I laughed hard.

Yea but then still we would need to make the universe out of something right? Where does this something come from? But I don't think mankind will become that advanced, we will probably be extinct before that happens. But thats only a guess.

we should then just stop the useless effort of finding answers, and start doing something tangible, like discovering and interpreting the dance language of the bees.

I personally don't see why a ever-lasting universe/multiverse isn't possible. Not everything has to be created and then destroyed.

True. I just think it's fun to think about.

We already do that introducing species bit here on Earth though. Usually doesn't end well.

Not everything has to be created and then destroyed.

We don't know that. ( I mean the created part)

Er, I'm not sure what you mean by that, but if this helps I made a typo...I meant to say "don't see why a ever-lasting universe/multiverse isn't possible" instead of "is". Either way, I still think the universe wasn't "created", it was there all along.

Yea, I assumed that you did make a typo otherwise it didn't really make sense. What I'm saying is that we can't know that there are things that do not need to be created.
