Was wondering if this is new ~

 

Today I went to kill Jad for the umpteen time <_< killed all the healers and Jad was nearly down for the count! UNTIL I see more healers coming at me. WHAT!! :-o Is this something new? Was I taking to long to kill Jad, thus the reason why more healers?

 

Having Jad Rage here!!!! HELP!

Yes, killed healers are back after a while.

 

Drink an OVL before the end of the last 360 - attack healers only once to make them attack you back (and stop healing Jad) + tank them (125 def = ftw) and only focus on Jad prayer switching.

 

Seriously, i did it and failed at first attemp because i missclicked prayer and saw it a bit late.

Second attemps was a walk in the park, even for that Jad-Noob-Fighter i have ever been. But now i have this cape thanks to it.

Oh baby light the dark side...

If it helps, Val... I have been there roughly 10 times this week, and Jad got me everytime. I've got him as far as to a third or fourth HP left, and then BAM! deaded.

(And I go to GWD, TD's and more without problems.)

Ohhh, this is what I was not sure of... thanks gang!! :thumbsup: Dang! I was doing so good I knew I should have let that one healer alone. :wall: Another problem I am having is my hands won't stop shaking while I am trying to kill him. :oops:

 

I need to get the guts to go back and try to kill Jad again, but for now I feel the need to shop in real life to get over this frustration. EEP!, my poor check book.

And rambo claws rush with 125 atk/str and turmoil, with vengeance cast and soul split on, should take down Jad pretty quickly.

The only thing wrong with it is the lack of a percentage for when you need to stroke it.

Not recommended but w/e: up to a point, alcohol cancel,s out the effects of adrenalin that make your hands shake.

I just attacked all the healers so they wouldn't heal Jad. Beat it first try.

yeah, nerves were a problem for me at first too. it just took experience and time. tips control your breathing and thinking positive thoughts (i CAN beat him rather than OMGOMGOMG IMA DIE PLZ DONT KILLMEEEEEEEE)

Tell me more about this Rambo claws with vegenance cast. You know I really am more of a melee killer and not a ranger. I can't stand to range Jad I like quick kills not having to stand around for 15 min's while he beats me to death. <_<

 

I'm up for any and all suggestions, would love someone to show me what to wear in there.

basicly, you just claw rush him, let him hit you once so vengeance triggers, and then finish him off with a good melee weapon. bring ext pots. if you do it right he should die before healers can do any thing. if not, lure healers and finish him off. btw, from what i understand, his melee attack is almsot instant, so you need to have that on all the time and only switch when you see the other style about to hit you.

(P.S.) you can borrow my claws :D ill be online for the next hour.)

With the Jad resurrection thing, could just mean one easy cape a day. Clawing Jad is a good way to kill him, works great when you've already half killed him.

I will add you but the thing is I won't be on today at all, I have a Doc's appointment. Hopefully I can catch you on someday soon.

Rushing with claws is definitely the way to go. I don't know if you want to spend the time getting him as a slayer task but that would improve your damage output too. Overload, brew, Pre-cast veng, wait 30 seconds, pray range, 2x claw spec, cast veng if already used 1st veng , switch to rapier/spirit shield or chaos shield and attempt to switch prayers accordingly, pray he dies before you do.
