2. Stick at Rocktails or swap partially for Sara Brew/Super Restore?

3. Any weapon I should use for Special? I've thought about EE (Bit of Healing and Def Boost)

Headgear: Neitiznot seems to be the best.

Boots: Archer or Snakeskin.

Shield: I think I used BSS or Zamorak book, not sure.

Ring: Archer.

 

I'd go for the brews, a lot more healing that way.

 

If you can get Claws, I'd use them, or another decent damaging special weapon, otherwise it's up to you.

You can also use a def draining weapon like BGS or DL as spec weapon.

Brews are the way to go. Drop the ranged pots (but pot up at the bank). Use barrows gloves, archer's ring, bss, snakeskin boots. Use normal restores and super restores (4:16 and 4:12, respectively).

You do not need ranged potions. And for a special, darklight works well. I did not use any special myself.

Inventory: 4 Prayer Potions, Holy Wrench, Kyatt Pouch, D-Claws (Special), 4 Restores, 16 Brews. Empty space when switching to Claws for Book.

War Tortoise: 3 Restores, 9 Brews, fill-up Rocktails

 

Use D.Spec at:

1) Start

2) When he heals after you get him to 25%

3) Berserk

4) Just before Beserk (aka, when I can KO him in two specs)

 

Ideal battle: Dismiss Tortoise, Summon Kyatt, spam scrolls -> 75% damage dealt -> Nomad heals -> deal ~20% damage -> swap to D-Claws -> Nomad dies in two specs.

Here's what I recommend using;

 

Headwear: Neitiznot with 90 ambush scrolls

Body: Black D'hide Body

Legs: Black D'hide Chaps

Boots: Snakeskin boots

Gloves: Best RFD gloves, black vambs if you haven't done RFD

Cape: Ava's Accumulator

Weapon: Rune Crossbow

Shield: Unholy book, or Book of Balance

Ring: Doesn't matter that much, I used recoil.

Ammunition: Ruby (e) (I'd rather bring another brew then diamond (e) because during the berserk stage kyatt does 95% of the damage)

 

Inventory: (I'd brew up over max xp, range pot and use a super set if your using a spec weapon) 10 Super Restores (or 4 prayer potions and 6 normal restores), kyatt pouch and rest of inventory & BoB should be filled with Saradomin Brews (4) ** Just my recommended inventory, it's what I used to kill Nomad **

If you have empty spaces fill 'em with brews.

Would be more expensive, but I'd recommend it.

Use the EE, or maybe you could look for a dclaw/bgs loan if you have higher melee stats.

 

 

Just remember that 3 of the 4 "special" attacks are avoidable

1. Stay by the pillar when he drops the mines, and don't run into them.

2. The 750 hit is avoidable by standing behind the pillar.

3. The clones can be avoided by standing behind the pillar for around a minute (heal up, drop vials, etc)

4. The max hit - 10 is un-avoidable so brew up to over your max hp and just spam 4 brew doses when he hits you, and run behind the pillar.

I was under the impression that you would spam the scroll yourself. So wouldn't having it in the helmet be kinda random? Wouldn't you want to have it in your inventory?

I guess the point of having them in helmet is to get one more space room in inventory and take them out when needed. But it is a bit of hassle to remove them from the helmet.

No, the point of scrolls in the helmet is that they activate without draining the special bar, so you basically get free attacks.

As what someone else had already said, it would save an inventory spot, and when you summon the kyatt you withdraw the scrolls from the helmet. ;)

 

Spehy - It's actually not a hassle at all.. Just run behind the pillar during one of his 3 avoidable "special" moves, and dismiss the BoB, summon the kyatt and spam click those scrolls.

 

To OP - I strongly recommend keeping the left click summoning option on using the special attack. May be a pain to switch it from BoB, and could end up getting you killed.
