Now I know there has probably been posts on this, infact, I know there has been because I just searched it. All I really want is support for an idea.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I see that there is many benches, stools and chairs around Runescape which are currently a waste of game space. So, why not put these into use?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ideas

 

 

 

-When you are low on energy, you can sit on one of these benches and it will make your energy recharge 2X faster than usual. It will also recharge hitpoints and other stats that little bit faster. (But not to good because that would make the idea of Restore Potions obsolete).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

-It would be great for trading, social events and just for looking good. It would be nice to see people at the park in Falador or in any Bar having something good to talk about. It seems that most people just don't have any time to sit down and talk about things nowadays.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

So, although I am bracing for an almighty flaming... I would like to know if any body supports this idea or not. I may also make a picture showing my idea sooner or later. Thanks for reading.

I think it's a great idea. Sitting down in bars and in parks would make RS a bit more better. You know Jagex though, it has to be absolutely needed to be turned into a real update.

i like this idea, there ar too many unused chairs in RS.

I find nothing wrong with the restore idea. Since you are sitting down, it's not like you are fighting anything.

I'm not trying to rain on your parade here but this idea has already been suggested over a year ago (Maybe a year and a half.). Jagex took it into consideration but have apparently forgotten/haven't worked on it yet. :(

Very good idea, although it has being suggested many times before (by me even). I look foward to it being implemented.

I like this idea, what could be better then after a day of fighting dragons, or mining, or chopping wood. Then going to the nearest tavern buying an ale, and talking with the people there. It would make parks seem more real, and maybe there could be like rest stops between large (relatively speaking) walking distances. For example, there could be a bench and like a small drink stop between Falador and Varrock.

I probably wouldnt use it unless i needed to, i mean who sits around and chats? i do stuff whilsts chatting! only benefit to sitting in a bar and talking is getting very drunk (how we all love it) and trading items...it could be a place to meet friends if your short on your list or your wanting a buyer or seller then you can make aquantances(spelling?), broker deals etc

I know this topic is old but the idea is great!

I say Let My People Sit!!!!!!! this is an awsome idea when i have free time in real life i play b-ball or am on runescape but runescape i can get bored from times to times so sitting around talking havin feast would be real nice take a break from the hectic world of combat and fishing have a few pizzas and somthin to drink!

But sitting would be great and all, but it's not necessary. Sure I'd love to see the inns and bars actually used for a communal experience, perhaps a chat room just inside each bar which would allow traders to go in there if they're trying to haggle out a price, instead of having to talk over PM's they can speak through that and have an ale or two whilst there (which may lower the price even further :wink: )

Ive played other rpgs like R.O.S.E that had sitting to gain energy and i thought it worked very well and was a good idea. i support sitting! woot!
