First Nechryael Task

Recommended Posts

So I've just got my first Nechraeyl task, and I was wondering how I should go about doing it. I hear ice barraging them in the chaos tunnels is very fast, but I'm not entirely sure how to do it efficiently. I've decided not to use arcane stream necklace, or full slayer helm, as their magic damage bonus only affects one target with multi-targetting spells. I'll probably use a stole and full battle robes. I've never done this before, so I need all the information I can get. Yes, I do know it might be rather costly, but I've decided I want to try it out.

Chinning them with red chins in void is best. FSH only amplifies damage to one target, void does it to all of them. You target the little guys they spawn because of the lower defense. I think there is a good guide on it somewhere in the AOW.

PM me in game anytime

It's a lot easier then that for an idiot to sound smart on the internet.

That's exactly what you're doing right now... just saying.

The guide you're talking about is here: http://forum.tip.it/topic/247101-190kh-range-xp-with-profit-chinning-nechryaels/

I did this when I was mage-slaying. I basically followed the guide that Kimberly posted. Instead of luring them with bronze knives, I just wacked them with my SoL on crush. However, bronze knives would still be better.

If you're not looking for magic exp, specifically, just use chins.

For my Nech tasks I've just done standard melee in the slayer tower, w/ yip+ an extra pouch, super set (cause my hl is still too low for extremes), and 15ish sharks. That basic setup has let me last a whole task of 150+, and bouts till i got a clue and left to do that. Its all up to your preference.

You should stlill bring an arcane since it's got +14 mage attack. And fsh, even though the damage only applies to 1 target, it still makes it faster.

The battle robes will save a lot of runes though, enough to justify the loss of speed. And a glory or fury would be good since it gives both mage att and pray bonuses.

Melee with good combat familiar is actually better than chinning/barraging due to the spawns and no auto aggression.
