Mercifull Posted December 12, 2005 Share Posted December 12, 2005 This is a good idea. The latest stuff added to the other city doesnt seem to be that good. Most of the good artists already submitted their work early on and the latest stuff just seems a bit bland or isnt even true isometric. I also like the idea that this one has a theme. Its certainly not an official competition to make the best building or anything. Perhaps the "good" people dont want to make loads of different buildings and would rather work really hard on just one per city? Lets leave both running and see how it all turns out. Try lowering it a little and add a few more details. Flats don't have to look like a single block of concrete. "the other tip.it city still on these boards that virtual made and is stilll not done" and i guess this is different because now this has a theme, and you wont let people who arent as good as youd like have their stuff in it thanks everyone for the sigs! But it would be nice if people actually followed the rules by posting in real isometric. Thats why this new city is around. Its also got a set theme so should promote something a bit more original than a concrete block or something ripped from DevArt... you know who you are. Each building will be a sepperate layer with the name of the creator and the date it was added in the layer name.
