how to make 250m -.-

Ok, so its been my plan to snipe an ely out of ge, but i need another 250m or so. Just wondering what my best methods to get it would be.

I cant really do frosties well, owing to lag, can onyl get 100-120 kpr.

Can you do tormented demons? (Idk if you really have 96 qps or not)

 

Otherwise you could try a mixture of farming herbs/MTK/ & maybe GWD or Corp?

 

I can't really think of anything else besides the typical slayer, green drags, etc.

tbfh, i my prob is lag, ive got 3-5 second lag, and occasional dc's. hate herb farming. I dont mind frosties too much, theyre just a bit annoying, because i can soul split flash, and have to bring guthans.

Use ranged. It's only a few less kills/h but with FAR less clicking and no need for soul split.

I made 500M every 6 months Woodcutting Mage Logs.

So you could always try that if you have the patience.

Getting 250M will take a bit of time, depending on your playing preferences. I would suggest anything that guarantees a decent moneymaker. Right now I've been doing Grenwalls and I get a steady 1M+ GP per hour. Of course that will take over 200 hours, and I'm not sure if you're willing to spend that much time doing so.

 

You can try your luck on Tormented Demons and God Wars. Or, you could try flipping at the GE, although this requires a lot of patience to do well.

Helm:Guthans helm

Body:guthans body

Skirt:guth skirt

boots:dragon

amulet;fury

cape:sw

ring:life(incase i dc)

shield:defender

Weapon:rapier.

I bring 7 antifires, 2 extreme sets, 2 yak pouches and yak filled with ppots. i bring cannon too, and about 4k shots, turmoiling on and off. Repotting att and str at 110.

Errm...frost dragons are the easiest(and easiest by a long mile) combat moneymaker there is, so realistically, he can't use combat to make money. With the lag he has, even grenwall profit would be about halved. So realistically, unless he can merchant(and he probably can't, hence why we have this topic), he can't really do much, if anything at all.

Why not just bring food and do shorter trips then? Anyone who still uses guthan, and particularly with your combat stats, deserves to be called an idiot.

How would anyone else but you know how much food you actually use? It's impossible to suggest this.

 

In any case, as it already has been said, you should probably range.(no healing needed)

Secondly, blood barrage is ridiculously expensive and hits lower than ice barrage. And thirdly, soul split uses much more prayer points than deflect curses, not to mention the damage deflection.

 

Oh, and when he isn't getting too many kills now, mage would get much, much less.

In my experience (using Void), SS tends to keep up and you'll end up healing, although yes, you'd use up a LOT of prayer points during this time, but seeing as you only need to heal 5-8 times per hour, it doesn't seem THAT bad.

Melee with melee void? but that would leave you defenseless against melee attacks, causing you to use SS constantly. Mage and range shouldn't(and if done right, don't) need any healing at all.

 

In any case, if you can't heal with SS, melee isn't the fastest combat class anymore and no matter what, if he is getting 80-100 kills less than he should right now, he is doing something very wrong.

Well, considering i can get around 140 kills without the cannon or around 110 kills with no combat class at all, you must be doing something wrong. All of the combat moneymakers(or any moneymaker at all for that matter, except for merchenting) are about keeping active and being fast so if you can't improve the KPH, you should really consider learning to merchant.
