And the captain has proven a perfect way to behave to your high officers is to just not give a crap. Remember Ganymede, AD was pissed at you cause of how you handled us in the battle and you practically put the finger up to him when you said *shrug* so when asked why I did, Captain, *Shrug*

Lol *that's* your justification?

You're going to need to do a bit better than that.

This is why i prefer being in open combat, or working on my stoof. All this subterfuge, this pathetic atempt at vying for atention or gold, or glory, hs caused us to be split into tiny fragmental groups. And this is only the fifth sesion or so. If you dudes need me, i'll be trining, reasearching, or upgrading.

Agreed. From now on, if I get a mission from pretty much anyone, they're getting told to stuff it, and I'll go back to my research. Screw politics, from now on I look after the hide of myself and the crew.

There is no justification.

What I did was wrong, but it wasn't even that bad. And I know, you're probably thinking, I do it now, what do I do later. But then again, what do you achieve just firing me from my positions, I can outright refuse to pay the fines, and you can waste a bunch of money on a brig, or you can chuck me off the ship, but I'll always come back. Quite frankly I'm not afraid of anything you can chuck at me.

Basically my point is, yeah I did bad, but what you gunna do?

It's a REALLY big shaft.

Hey I could have been a huge [bleep], killed you, destroyed all your turrets and effed over your relations by saying I was under your command the whole time.

Did I do that? No. Even after you tried to kill me, I only threatened to hurt your turrets, I didn't even try hard to do it, I openly admitted my actions to you.

So no, you're the children, you've only got authority because of the turrets, once they're gone you're seriously screwed.

Meh, this is all hypothetical of course, and I have no real reason to even harm the turrets or any crewmember, and then again, I haven't.

<AI> Gavril, you enter the room, Jen and Nero seem to be stripping each other

[21:39] <Jen> >.>

[21:39] <Gavrill> OH GOD

[21:39] <Jeremiah> Okay, now add armour plating to the NBC suit

[21:39] <Gavrill> OK I THOUGHT IT WAS GOING TO BE INNOCENT

[21:39] <Jeremiah> 4 inches thick.

[21:39] <Gavrill> ^DON'T SAY THAT

[21:39] <AI> Jeremiah, Armour plating is too heavy

[21:39] <Jeremiah> Yes, that is the point

[21:40] <Jeremiah> Add fusion generator to the armour

[21:40] <Gavrill> I get outta there.

[21:40] <AI> Fusion generator is too heavy

[21:40] <Jeremiah> Make it operate the limbs in tandem with the wearer.

[21:40] <Gavrill> I make my way to the bridge

[21:40] <Jeremiah> Add fission generator, I mean

[21:40] <Chi> This is as if taken from an SGU scene.

[21:40] <AI> Gavrill, as you are leaving you hear Jen say 'Rub this in' You then head to the bridge

[21:40] <Jen> 0.0

[21:40] <Gavrill> I cry a little.

[21:41] <AI> Nero hears your tears

[21:41] <Gavrill> Hahahaha

[21:41] <AI> Jeremiah, done

[21:41] <Gavrill> Why did I lol

[21:41] <Chi> The ship's prime medic and the tough-guy captain getting intimate.

[21:41] <Jen> IT'S A SIMULATION

[21:41] <Theros> o_O wut

[21:41] <Jen> What kind of simulation is that Gavrill?

[21:41] <Gavrill> He didn't hear me crying, but my tears made plenty of noise :P, anyway, I go around a corner

[21:41] <Theros> i come back from solving a crypto, and...

[21:41] <AI> Gavril, Nero begins to strip Gavrill

[21:41] <Jen> Lol

[21:41] <Gavrill> NO WHAT

[21:41] <Jeremiah> Simulate movement in the suit: Walking, running, jumping, and swinging from a bar

[21:41] <Theros> O_O MY EYES

[21:42] <AI> Jeremiah, the suit has collapsed

[21:42] <Jen> It's like an f upped porno

[21:42] <Gavrill> I impale Nero with my blade O_O!

[21:42] <Jeremiah> Why did it collapse?

[21:42] <AI> Gavrill, Nero has died

[21:42] <Chi> Now it stopped being like SGU.

[21:42] <AI> Jeremiah, the armour is too heavy

[21:42] <Gavrill> I leave the body and walk into the room with Jen and tranq her

[21:42] <Jeremiah> Add a second fission generator.

[21:43] <Jeremiah> And then repeat simulations.

[21:43] <AI> Gavrill, Jen says 'Gavril, you must....' then she falls unconscince

[21:43] <Jen> Use the force

[21:43] <Gavrill> Dammit!

[21:43] <Gavrill> LOL

[21:43] <Gavrill> I place them both inside the bed, under the covers

[21:43] <AI> Jeremiah, the suit collapses

[21:43] <AI> Gavril, done

[21:43] <Theros> Gtg afk for a bit

[21:44] <Gavrill> I go back into stealth mode if I'm out of it, and head to the bridge

[21:44] <AI> Gavrill arrives at the bridge

[21:44] <Jeremiah> Retain generator #2, and reduce armour plating to 2.5 inches.

[21:44] <AI> Jeremiah, completed

[21:44] <Jeremiah> Redo simulations

[21:44] <Gavrill> Is anyone there?

[21:44] <AI> Simulations completed

[21:44] <AI> Gavril, no

[21:45] <Gavrill> I type in a command to the AI, to get everyone to come to the bridge

[21:45] <Gavrill> I then behind a computer

[21:45] <AI> Then behind a computer?

[21:45] <Gavrill> Umm

[21:46] <Gavrill> Wait no, I'll just hide in the corner

[21:46] <AI> Gavrill, you wait

[21:46] <Jeremiah> Did the suit collapse?

[21:46] <Gavrill> I keep waiting :)

[21:46] <AI> Jeremiah, no

[21:46] <AI> Gavrill, you get a headacj

[21:46] <Jeremiah> How many repeats were carried out?

[21:46] <AI> Jeremiah, 596

[21:46] <Gavrill> Hmmm

[21:47] <Jeremiah> How many failures?

[21:47] <AI> None

[21:47] <Gavrill> I check the AI to see the oxygen levels on the ship

[21:47] <Jeremiah> Increase armour plating to 3 inches.

[21:47] <AI> Gavrill, Oxygen Levels are nominal

[21:47] <AI> Jeremiah, done

[21:47] <Jeremiah> And run simulations again.

[21:47] <Gavrill> Where is the ship heading to/ at

[21:47] <Jeremiah> Mars.

[21:47] <AI> Gavrill, the ship is orbiting an unknown planet

[21:47] <Chi> I'd check my blood preassure if I was you.

[21:48] <Jeremiah> Oh yeah, simulation

[21:48] <Gavrill> Hm

[21:48] <Chi> I think it might be a little high in your brain.

[21:48] <Gavrill> I check my blood pressure

[21:49] <AI> Your blood presure seems elevated, though you remember that you have just seen Nero and Jen naked so that might have contributed

[21:49] <Jen> That's what I get for being the only female on the ship :o

[21:49] <Gavrill> It must have been one great body from Jen

[21:49] <Gavrill> Or Nero is HAWT

[21:50] <Chi> Now how do you disperce your blood into a part that usually has less than it can take?

[21:50] <Theros> That's going in my sig as soon as the session ends

Well, I actually was planning on taking a little trip to Britain shortly. Care to come with me and Gavrill, Jeremiah? I'm sure the Brits will be very acceptive of the fellow who just blew up their ship and more than 500 of their citizens.

A trip to Britain sounds exciting. Can we go see Big Ben? Perhaps the London eye? I hope we get to see the Queen!

Infact, I was planning on doing something very different. Sitting around my quaters and developing my suit to full power, and I don't really plan on getting interrupted.

Like I hinted at before, I'm not even pissed at the situation, nothing bad happened, the ship got 120K richer (20K more than if we went with Ross's plan) and Ross just got into trouble with Britain, which then got sorted out. We also learned that in a battle we're still unorganised as eff. Probably something as a captain you should sort out.

Now I'm saying we can just drop it here and act like nothing really happened, or you can annoy me.

It's a REALLY big shaft.

I didn't catch fire, I used the can of hairspray as a flamethrower and pointed it at my arm.

Errrr... The reason I have authority is because I don't pull stupid crap like attacking a ship we're supposed to be escorting without discussing it with the captain first.

Of course, I would have said no, and if I did, you should be obliged to go along with it.

Sounds fun.

Icu, I don't think you understand this. The diplomatic err was sorted out. YOU were not. You defied a direct order and then went against the entire plan after knocking me out.

It wasn't the entire plan, it cocked up before you were even brought in.

Also your statement shows you wont do what's best for the ship but what is best for you.

If we captured Sere, we'd recieve 280K, plus Nex's mission, plus we could have probably looked at what they had in their cargo.

You had a perfect oppertunity to kill me, and you never followed through infact you said, pretend I'm not here, and went to your room, you could have saved Seres, what happens if I bring that to the courts?

Anyway, I have been the grown up here and said we can leave it here, I'll abide by what's best for the ship.

It's a REALLY big shaft.

I didn't catch fire, I used the can of hairspray as a flamethrower and pointed it at my arm.

Saying 'Discussion over, every just get along.' doesn't automatically make you right or grown up.

Probably something as a captain you should sort out.

Which is exactly what I'm doing.

And the 'best interest of the ship' isn't judged solely by what makes to most money. Mutinying and attacking an unarmed ship without orders and with no regard for the consequences is definitely not in the best interest of the ship.

Aaaanyways, I still don't know why I deserve a 100,000 fine. All I did was say that we could get a lot of money if we attack the Sere (I thought the escort mission wasn't going to be completed because of Gavrill at that point, I thought he would've briefed Ross before acting on his mission), get blown up by Theros' prototype rounds because Archi confused the hell out of me and I had no idea if I was on the Unity or the Sere, try to keep Theros from ripping Ross' eyes out, and do damage control to prevent this from going all to hell.

I think it may have been from the AI incidents before. Or maybe for the "DEPLOY ALL SANDWICHES" thing.

And I honestly didn't know the prototype rounds were going to blow up. I specifically stated to Archi that they were made for.... well, let's call it pouring salt on wounds.

Oh, and it went like this: Gavrill asks me to remove Jeremiah's VISOR. I heal you and wake you up. Gavrill removes the VISOR himself. Or at least, that's how I think it went, considering that Gavrill had the VISOR after things had cooled down.

Hey, I was the one that kept us from being destroyed in that battle, though I was the one who caused it, so ironic.

Anywho, I didn't say I was right, but it is more grown up to say, well it wasn't the worst situation, infact we came out a bit better I think than if we did it. If we didn't, me and Theros would have been shouted at by Russia, Ross would have NEVER earned 100K, as he would have NEVER been able to complete the last two objectives, which were identify and kill/capture, as me and Theros were, and if we didn't admit it then he failed that last two objectives. I'm saying it's a bit childish that someone opposed your self proclaimed rule, that is then held up by the people you got on good terms with, who also just happen to be in high places of power, and you wonder how a dictorship starts, and and they have to be overly punished, my fine is huge, I've been stripped of my rank and power, and I have to face either long term imprisoment, which would be the worst option for you guys, or execution, and at it's Britain, and I don't think it has changed all to much, there is NO death penalty. So it'd had led to you guys having to bust my ass outta jail, or just failing to punish me cause as the rule states, you can't leave the system without everyone unless they choose to stay, and I don't think it's fair to remove a player from the game with long term imprisoment cause the top echelon declare it is the right thing to do.

What I'm saying is, you're basically a dictatorship right now, and I don't like it, and a lot less people will start to like it when they realise how cut off they actually are.

May I remind you of Mather, you thought he was a traitor so you outright shot him, the funny thing was, you were wrong, and the the better thing yet, Mather was good enough to be okay about it, when if that was any of you I can sure as hell be sure you'd expect a payment.

I only kept the VISOR cause I forgot Ross had beta override, and I thought that was his only way of controlling the turrets.

It's a REALLY big shaft.

I know what was in the cargo already, and it wasn't anything military related.

And no, I couldn't do anything because you took my VISOR (AKA, tore my eye out.) and tranqed me. I could have tried to take control back, but I am an engineer, you are a soldier armed with several different guns, and I can guess who would have won that particular fight. I'd rather not die, especially if it won't accomplish anything.

And yes, Icu, a rank system is okay as long as you have a high position, right? You were okay with it while you were third in command, and now that you don't have a rank, it's suddenly a dictatorship? Get real.

So why won't you tell us? If it's not military related, it probably has no bearing on the ship whatsoever, and I'd honestly like to really know what Icu and I were sent to capture/blow up.

It WAS military related

Britain STATED it was a defense mechanism, so they even admitted it was something to do with military, but our intelligence stated "The defense thingy is obselete and Britain knows this, it must be something else!"

Like I said, I want to end this on peaceful terms, and I don't want anyone to get hurt. I've openly admitted I want whats best for the ship, before this day, and I thought the captain knew, the only reason why I was obedient.

It's a REALLY big shaft.

Yea idk Nex, the log is pretty jumbled and confusing. It seemed to me like you were actively working with Gravill and had foreknowledge of what he was planning and didn't do anything about it.

It's definitely not about the sandwiches lmao.

I only kept the VISOR cause I forgot Ross had beta override, and I thought that was his only way of controlling the turrets.

1. You can leave the system even if someone is not on the ship and doesn't want to stay wherever.

2. I've given you a pretty fair option - you rejoin the ship and pay your fine, as well as get stripped of your ranks.

3. Mather's fine with it because he understands the reasoning behind it. What you did was even worse than what I believed Mather had did though, and you still don't understand why you are getting such a huge fine.

I know exactly how a dictatorship starts, and under your definition yes, this is a dictatorship. But, going by your definition anyone who has any sort of power or position higher than someone else is a dictator. Teachers are dictators under your system, for example. Same with Doctors. DOCTOR DICTATOR! Silly.

Like I said, I want to end this on peaceful terms, and I don't want anyone to get hurt. I've openly admitted I want whats best for the ship, before this day, and I thought the captain knew, the only reason why I was obedient.

No, you want what's best for you. What you're saying is that as long as what's best for you, and you can convince yourself through mental gymnastics that it's best for the ship then you'll follow orders.

That's not how this works though.

As Arch's lovely poster illustrates:

So you're fine with a dictatorship as long as it follows what you want?

Plus, the captain wasn't even here, so by that logic, the only reason you were obedient was because the captain wasn't fining you...

Basically, Dusty is the captain, I listen to him.

I'm second, you listen to me.

If you don't like what I say, I'd be very glad to discuss it with you, but you NEVER TOLD ME YOU WERE GOING TO PULL THIS CRAP.
