Haha, that'd be win.

It's a REALLY big shaft.

I didn't catch fire, I used the can of hairspray as a flamethrower and pointed it at my arm.

how are you going to ignore my posts when I'm offering to let you live as my vassal in two weeks time?

I think shields are more effective, because they weigh so little. Maybe pack on four or five layers of shields and you'd be set.

Remember that the graviton hellbore and gamma pulse torpedoes smashed the suit.

Y U NO HIGHLIGHT MY ANAGRAMS?!?

I have no clue what that means, but I actually got a crypto of the squirrel thing you had said earlier.

The sad part is that I actually remembered that.

I'm talking about the 'Working Jen 'til...' stuff I made from an anagram.

Ross,

Weapons Engineering: +1 Weapon Hardpoint per 5 levels

Bay Engineering: +1 Bay every 10 levels

And no, designing things does not produce merits, since they can already be converted into credits.(Thus preventing Runescapesc "S311ing Fr33 St0ff"

Flight is fine, though would probably need a few flight simulations before you could use it(successfully) out on missions.

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.

I don't think this is fair. This isn't a game of Uno! I have very little knowledge of the problems, but I still probably would've gotten it if I hadn't posted it here again and you grabbed it.

It's very selfish of you, Retech. I really just want that one level, and then I suppose I'll never ask for the ship's damn help on a puzzle again. Not that I'll get anything done, but I guess that can't be helped.

Nex, this is a completely different situation. First of all, I had the puzzle first. Second of all, you had no progress in solving the puzzle, so I wasn't stealing any of your work.

Well at least I'll be there at the beginning of the session. Beware, pattern and math puzzles!

I suck at anagrams, but cryptograms take a while but I'm not BAD at them, and word morphs are mah [bleep], but they're generally easy.

I have been thinking about death.... I think I need to make it more...lossy...So here is the plan:

If you die you lose 10,000 credits and any unique items*. Your inventory is otherwise protected. (Keeping track of saves got complicated)

Also, someone must be on the bridge to recover you and say something, or you must wait 10 minutes, then ask.

Also, a rationing system has been introduced to prevent the venting of all food in sandwich styled attacks.

All personal are limited to a banquet per day.

*Items that can't be replicated on ship...like Data Sticks, special weapons and other such stuff.

Note that this includes things like Jen's Data Stick.

This stuff can be picked up off the ground where people died, as long as they haven't respawned.

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.

Is any of my stuff classed under Unique Items?

Also, what if we have no credits to lose?

With the permission of the captain, I'd like to create a data uploading protocol. This way you can keep data in a "locker" in the AI, and only you will have access to it. They'd be completely guarenteed and no one will be able to use the designs stored inside without permission from their owner.

Just so we're clear, we should return unique items to their original owner. If someone takes my stuff and doesn't give it back, I will hunt you down and kill you. If needed, I can lock the medical bay and store copies of unique items in there, so if you lose your unique item somewhere on another planet, you can pick up your copy and fabricate a new one, so that you'll never completely lose the design.

No

And the money is billed to the Ship's Account unless someone with authority(Currently only Nero, I think) blocks it.

In which case you are dead until someone pays for it, or the end of the session.

Data can be stored in the AI and puzzle lock protected(You can make the puzzle, as long as I have the answer) from someone hacking in. Or can be stored in your Personal Quarters on a puzzle locked computer, disconnected from the AI(though obviously you would need to access AI Database data on a seperate computer)

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.

Yeah, but if we co-operate then it'd be done faster.

As a clue, the answer is a common but wierd internet phrase regarding a food object.

Yeah, with that update, until someone requests I make them an Alpha Nero then I'll need someone to pick up my Alpha Nero if I die. But if I make one for someone else it can't be classified as unique anymore.

Hey Archi, if I built the EDGE Armour by hand instead of having it fabricated, would that gain me experience? I notice that I'm sorely lacking in the levels department, so I was just wondering.

Also, would it cost less, or would I have to assemble bits at a time and put them together later?

The Edge suit would require 250,000 credits in raw resources, about 90 hours of time (Which would mostly be done between sessions, I am guessing) and would generate 1,300 merits(since it has been properly designed, highly expensive and takes a long time to build)...If it was successfully produced(which would be a die roll).

If the die failed then the suit would work, but would jam/crash at opportune moments.

400,000 credits to buy it and have it assembled by experts.

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.
