Do repairs cost money or do they just take time? (Like if you died and then repaired the suit at the end of the session or something).

Well, since Jen is not military and on international soil (or rather gravity plating) then I guess she counts as her own nation and is unnafected by those laws.

I'd imagine we're all citzens or military personnel of our respective countries. Otherwise how the hell did she get part of the ISS?

It's a REALLY big shaft.

I didn't catch fire, I used the can of hairspray as a flamethrower and pointed it at my arm.

how are you going to ignore my posts when I'm offering to let you live as my vassal in two weeks time?

She was a citiezen, as was I, but I guess that changed when we took permanent positions on this ship... if not then at least when we attacked Ganymede.

Anyways, officiall citicienship does not matter when you're neither on payroll nor any nation's property.

I'd imagine the ISS is of international property. But I don't think we're going to indepth with it. The fact is she cheated a bunch of nations, someone might get pissed, might not.

It's a REALLY big shaft.

Americans had better insurance than most, and they generally have a boatload of cash anyway...so you got money even though you didn't take part in the mission.

Word morphs are kinda removed. I am trying to work on a script for a longer than 4 letter multi-morph...however it is taking time, so I merged it with 'What comes next'

Have a look at a proper one (You can replace Jen with your characters name)

Okay, I'll pay the fine.

Nero, I'd like to withdraw 80k of the money I donated to the ship fund please.

You have like 200K personal funds...

I'll claim my 3,000 and give it to Icu for use in paying back the ship. After all, it's not like I'm gonna use it...

Also, I chuck all my other (30k) credits into the "Ship Donation" box. Iirc, Nero mentioned something about my fine being lowered, so I'm cool now, right?

First thing I do next session is hold a big-ass multi-nation auction for the ion cannons. Hoo boy, this'll be fun...

Yep, fine is all paid off then.

Ship Fund: 360K

errr....I did

Theros: 250 Merits

Jen: 260 Merits

Nero: 890 Merits (Died Twice so...)

T-Fed Donation for T-Fed Officers(Nero, Faust): 30,000 Credits

British Donation for British Officers(Jeremiah): 15,000 Credits

Swiss Donation for Swiss Officers(AI): 12,000 Credits

Russian Donation for Russian Officers(Dmitri, Gavril, Theros): 8,000 Credits

Amerrican Donation for American Officers(Earth): 24,000 Credits

Nex didn't do anything during the mission so I'll claim the 30k.

I know Nero, but I've decided to give tech on a person to person basis now, rather than to the ship as whole. I'm still mad at Faust that he complained about the puzzles and everyone ganging up on me about that, which is why every tech will now have a price (that being to give me puzzles so I can do more research).

Another option for people who don't have two puzzles to give me (one for theirs and one for mine) is to give me one puzzle, which I solve to get a research, and the person may choose one technology I have, which they will receive one level up for.

And now that I know that I can actually be sued, while I gave money to the ship fund from the activities that could've gotten me sued (basically giving the benefits to the ship fund while not having my risks covered), I'll be stocking up 400k in personal funds for liability insurance.

Okay, if I recall correctly, you said that it costs 1000 merit for level one, and 500 for every level hereafter, right Archi?

If that is the case, I'd like to exchange 2500 merit for level 4 weapons engineering.

PS. Mather, I'm pretty sure that is a squid of some kind.

It's the Crab nebula aka. M1, aka. NGC 1952, aka. Taurus A. First nebula to be discovered. Remains of a supernova and pulsar wind.

It's funny that I got that one since I'm a Taurus.

EDIT: I am of course talking about my 'what is this'. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/12603519/Space/Puzzles/Chi.png

Ah, I thought you were talking about Jen's one which Archi posted on the last page.

Also, Retech, don't you think that is a tad on the greedy side? The rest of us barely have 100k and you want to keep 400k on hand at all times? Also, I think Archi is fairly justified in reducing the rate at which people can do research. Because you're great at puzzles, he had to make it all more difficult, which made us fairly helpless, and you still solved most of them. Carrying on at that rate would have been fairly absurd, since it was clear you had a massive advantage.

Yeah, that looked nothing like what you said, I was confused.

Anywho, I thought the merit system worked like

Level 1: 1000

Level 2: 1500

Apparently not, making missions more desireable instead of outright training instead of getting involved.

It's a REALLY big shaft.

Well, its more a case of inflation.

If tech is being made available at such a fast rate, then the worth of the tech is reduced(Since the next model is right around the corner)

Level 1: 1000

Level 2: 1500

Well, levels are supposed to start at level 0 and then go to 1 and so on and so forth....thus avoiding the 'I am at level 10', 'Yeah, but you have only gained 9 levels' arguements.

But people claimed one thing and fighting Dusty is pointless in that kind of arena so...

Anywho:

Level 2: 1,000 or 30 minutes

Level 3: 1,500 or 2 hours

Level 4: 2,000 or 8 hours

Level 5: 2,500 or 32 hours.

Ect, ect.

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.

So you're mad at Faust and for that reason you've decided to attack the rest of the ship?

If the ship fund gave me insurance as I was paying money into it, then I wouldn't keep that much, but this way I'm just keeping some insurance and then giving excess to the fund.

I have decided to keep tech unless people give me more puzzles, which is essentially the same as how it was before. Essentially I want more puzzles, but because of the way it is being restricted in a way that only harms me, then I will do anything necessary to receive more puzzles.

It was not merely Faust who was on the side of limiting.

Insurance for what? Unless you plan on getting killed 40 times in a row its a bit excessive.

That's kinda [bleep]ish.

Then who else?

Anyone who's complaining led to this decision by Arch to implement these restrictions.
