Leiana
Awwwww, no fun. I still think that they did something to me while I was sedated and strapped down. Here's a math song.... I bet no one can get the answer: Witch Tegan has a potAnd she cooks children in it.The names of the children are:Mato, Toto, Jini!Jito, Freni, Brini!Zani, Soto, Pikani, Sunik, Rani, RotoAnd the last one has a gift. The frog time the childrenTwo worms time them bothTwo flies time the wormsNow, Now, how many things are in Tegan's pot? Grim_
Lynx, on average it takes roughly 2-3 years to go through medical school (at least according to my knowledge of the UC system). This is added on top of the roughly 2 years of regular university coursework you have to go through to actually get into medical school. Now add onto that 2-3 years of high school (completely glossing over middle school) that adds up to roughly 6-7 years of schooling. Now do you think that they would let a 8-9 year old into any highschool? The answer is no (Obviously), however if there is some fast track that I am unaware of I still think it's unlikely that they would let a 12 year old into medical school. The_Mather1
Grim, the school setup is different between countries, for example in Norway, to become a doctor you need a total of 13 years of education, including 1-10th grade, or you can have 12 years of education and 2 years as an intern. If she were Norwegian that's mean she would only need to be 17 to be done with the education. And as I remember in her backstory she did not mention any evidence that she was completely done with the education and she could have been accepted onto the ship to work as an assistant for Jen, which counts as an intern period. Then she would only have needed to skip two grades in 1-10th grade, or even just one if her birthday is late in the year. Leiana
Chi, your answer is incorrect. ABSOLUTLY WRONG! AS for the backstory thing I'm still working on it. I do mention that she's got no social life when she was in school, which allowed her to do 3 years of school in one normal year. If she starts school when she is 3, she'll be 4 when she finishes her third "term". 1 term = one year of school for her. She manages to get 3 terms in one year. So, by her 12th term, she'll be 7 (term3=age4, term6=age5, term9=age6, term12=age7). Then, untill she turns 15, she spends the next 8 years learning medical and space stuff (her space knowledge was her individual study choice, she looked in books dating bact to 2003). Space obviously isn't her strongpoint, thus why she becomes a medic with space authorization than a captain (which she should never become) or someone who drives a ship (very, very, very bad idea. Thats why Lee should have a hoverboard for a transportation unit).
archimage_a
Are the children clothed, and if so, do we count the clothes? Also, if one of them sheds skin/hair/mucus/other bodily fluids, inside the pot, do they add to the total number of things? Also, are the children in the pot? Also, is 'has a gift' a child or a phrase indicating the last child had a gift.Is the gift in the pot?Do the children have the frogs and such with them? I guess 12, 13, 14. http://www.uzzisoft..../archimage.jpegWell I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.

archimage_a
Correct spelling and grammer would make the puzzle solvable...Answering the questions posed would as well. Also, there are 12 children, with 1 gift, hence 13. Alternatively there is nothing in the pot. http://www.uzzisoft..../archimage.jpegWell I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts. Retech
The problem is not the math, but the ambiguity of the wording. Master of your domain?
