Oh, and Jeremiah, SUE destroyed your room. I asked her how she was doing in response to a query from Echo, and she went ballistic about plotting, neglect, and genocide. She then knocked me out with an AP shot and proceeded to blow up my door, Echo's chest plate, and your quarters. Apparently she's been commandeering drones through her built-in speakers and modifying her console. She extended a probe into my head, then the AP turret power was isolated and her console shut off. No worries, though, she's implanted in my brain now and her sanity is restored. So everything works out, and I wired 15kEC to your account for repairs. I don't think SUE will be a negative presence for the Unity anymore. :)

The thing I would like people to learn from this whole thing is that AIs are long term...like a child...While you can make it fairly easily, there are lots of things you won't know about, and thus will make mistakes.

 

Anyway, the SUE issue is fairly resolved. She will continue to exist in your head, offering advice, but is otherwise totally ineffective.

Well, she always seemed to be latently psychic somehow, so she should be at home with my experiments into that field. :P

This mission started out as an assault on a Russian Escort, but now is something else (Explaination for the continuity error from last time).

Also a few things:

for this mission I will allow Jeremiah the ability to command and assign the 48 holobots however he chooses. (try to not get them all destroyed, and recover any parts from the broken ones if you can)

Drake will deploy a specialized Jormungand virus when ordered to by Jeremiah, as long as it is not targeting the Swiss and as long as it has specific targeting (ie. not a generic destroy all computers version. It has to be designated to effect a small number of vessels/systems)

 

Also a side note for Jeremiah: It ends up that the Time distortion Burst only operates a single time before failure, requiring it to be replaced (still an awesome weapon but more on the line of being a last resort. especially as I doubt it would require sensors to fire as its an area of effect weapon).

Hmmm... Should still be fairly helpful as a bargaining tool.

Can I play as a random character for this session? And if I survive and do good, I could make it on the unity perhaps.

Was the ship destroyed or is it still there?

God damnit.. Also, ship should still be there.. And Chi needs to stop being a [wagon]. you only have C4 and a comuter. we're against zombies. you are an idiot.

I also have the only repid fire weapon, something which is a major advantage when facing an opponent where it doesn't matter if the weapon is ballistic. And since I have a computer and speak Japanese I'm the only one who can bring offline systems online. You can ignore the ship if you wish Earth, but even if I don't get any support I still wish to salvage it. If you deny my wish to remain on the ship in the event that you leave that is nothing short of being gamebreaking for the sake of being mean to me.

Once you've out of range (if you leave me) I will begin repairing the ship, upgrading the ICOM and modify the bots to help me by acting as crewmembers, with a little luck I can get it back to its original state or even better. The fact that it's modular gives us an extra advantage, since that makes adding section easier as well as allowing me to lock down or even detach modules in case of boarding. Maybe I can even manage to locate the source of the zombie infestation and modify it to become an effective biological weapon that we can controll using nanites.

 

Like it or not, I'm not leaving the ship and I'm not going to let you destroy it.

Chi, i can bring up damaged systems at a much faster rate then you can, i can speak Japanese (double languaging is nice, but kinda useless now that most japanese are dead.) Also, we have rapid fire weapons, and ihave a god damn sword that sucks in anything it touches. And a hammer that makes SHOCKWAVES. You are horribly inequiped to deal with anything in there... And i'm suggesting we scrap the thing completley, after getting the designs from it. Those combvat drones are tough little bastards, and the balistics ammo they have interests me. Also, you can't detatch sections of ships without leaving a huge weknees in the hull lines, which makes it a more vulnerable ship. We can make a new ship out of the old.
