Unknown_Warrior
So many guides and many professional RC'ers say that ZMI regularly gets 55-60K xp per hour. Even maxing at 69K xp/hr according to Aribiterspar. This of course includes mousekeys, little lag and careful bank positioning and planning. I did all that and yet... 44,888 XP in an hour was what I recorded last time (~45K before that and ~40k before that, so pretty consistent). Of course, this isn't terrible, but I'm still roughly 20K xp per hour away from what many guides say are the rates at my level (which is 94 by the way).So I must be doing something terribly, terribly wrong if I'm 33% slower than what guides tell me I should get. Or, they're all lying. I just don't know what's what anymore. So I decided to record a snippet of my run and post it on YouTube in case some of these professional, 60K xp/hr Runecrafters can tell me where I'm going wrong http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZfOj-rsTEMU Roughly 3 minutes 16 worth of Runecrafting and 2,620 XP translating into roughly 48K xp/hr. The bank mishaps aren't as common as depicted in video (partially due to lag caused by the recording software). Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong? xpx
I also only got 45-48k xp an hour from 86 to 87, so i just stopped. Never crafted a rune since i killed myself for that level. For higher xp, you need perfect internet connection, high attention, fast clicking ability and mousekeys, otherwise i'd say your xp rate is normal. First to 99 Farming on 27. jettrider
Those are normal rates, having a higher runecrafting level makes the rest of the difference in what you will average long-term. You are still losing multiple ticks from each round, and you need consistently perfect rounds to even get close to 55-60k. Forget all about 60-69k, those are max rates from a tiny percentage of players. Expecting to get 65k exp/hr at your experience is unreasonable. 2496 Completionist
la la la
Everyone exaggerates and assumes every run/bank will be perfect. The max I have gotten per hr at 97 rc is around 55k (pre pouch change) Your loading times seem a bit long. Try playing on low-detail safe mode. Glad I'm not the only one.I didn't even realise that there was an even lower detail mode. I totally forgot about Safe mode and assumed setting Min would produce the same. Silly me. Thanks. SwreeTak
Don't you worry, 45k xp/hour is good :). If you get over 60k xp/hour you have perfect conditions, such as high-speed internet and full concentration as well as 99 rc, and you need experience for that. Keep going and you will raise your xp/hour rate too :) Add me if you so wish: SwreeTak

Codguy
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yGKM0h5fuLQ This is my video guide for ZMI. Skip to 45 seconds. You will get more xp/hour with an abyssal familiar, even with the change to how you can load your pouches from your bank screen. Use a bit more runes, but you still profit at your level. My video was done when I was 88 RC I think? And averaged 50-55k xp/hour (with 55k being my max at the time). This was without using mousekeys as well. I use them now, and at 94 RC would have a higher rate. A different pouch setup will increase your timings for emptying the pouches. If you have problems with healing (since you're using a bunyip), try using a Regen bracelet and rapid heal (or whatever the prayer is). Also use protection from range prayer too, and just recharge when needed at the altar near the ladder. I'd use mousekeys to do the withdrawing jump if you were to switch to the method I describe. Do what you want, but everything I mentioned will increase your xp/hour. P.S. The purple partyhat is required for decent xp/hour.
Unknown_Warrior
P.S. The purple partyhat is required for decent xp/hour. Damn elusive hat! In all seriousness, I will use a familiar again after this. That is, if college ever wants to give me some free time again.
