I didn't say I didnt like the music, because I actaully own and quite like some of their music, but that doesn't make you less of a rectum on legs. I'm really not worried about being beat up by emo kids on a runescape forum, dunno why, most other people crap themselves at that thought. and also I'm not worried about you because I know if by some slim chance we actually meet, you wouldn't fight me. and if you looked in a post I made earlier on a different thread I said the type of music I'm into is Screamo/Emo/Post Hardcore, as you said but you can't deny these guys are screamo. If you've ever heard them live then you'd understand how incredible thier screams and growls are. Their album Dear Diary, My Teen Angst has a Bodycount may not seem Screamo, but that's because Sonny came into the band when they were in the middle of recording so they didn't really have time to put a lot of work into most of it, but their live shows are truly amazing. its just like the same reason hawthorne heights isn't screamo, they scream maybe ONCE every 3 or so tracks. The Used / a static lullaby /hawthorn heights / silverstein ect; and them are considered hxc, because they are the more hardcore emo bands out there. -The Used suck. They shouldn't be in this topic. And aren't hardcore whatsoever. :lol: -Silverstein are alot less hardcore than some other emo bands, but I guess if you really want to you could consider them hardcore. I also have a question: What would the following bands be classified as? Their lyrics are emo/screamo, and they.. scream.. Some people call some of them post-hardcore and I've always just thought screamo. I'm not as educated in genres as some people I guess. I just like what I like. And I HATE the whole scene. I usually find the lyrics to be meaningful and touching if you can make out what they are saying :wink: Quite a tricky task at times. Not all are just plain Screamo, but some include a soft touch here and there..those are the best if you ask me. Ahaha. so far away. most of them would probably be pop punk. emo are further seems forever, some jimmy eat world...depressing, no distortion, slow, makes you wanna cry. nothing upbeat. not some [puncture] with makeup screaming "IM NOT ROWWKAAYYY" at the top of his pre-pubescent voice.
