Herro everybody

I recently just started playing runescape again after about a year or so break. After about a week or two of playing and getting back into the swing of things I decided to buy membership. I'm just curious as to what you guys think should be the first things I do while being a member. Like which skills to focus more on (I currently raised my fletching lvl to 35, thieving to 21 and slayer to 15) and which quests are essential to complete (currently no quests have even been attempted).

Thank you in advance

At that level? Just do as many quests as possible: they will set goals to level yourself further, give some good rewards, and immerse you in the game. As for which ones for now just find the ones you can do and do them, even if the reward isn't all that much.

I remember someone telling me about quests to unlock lands to the east and the west or something like that. What does that mean?

For eastern lands probably priest in peril, a good quest to do. About western lands fishing contest (For fast transportation) and starting the plague city questline I suppose.

Smoking kills is probably a bad idea, I somehow get the feeling that a person who hasn't really touched member quests could do it. Or have the slayer level. Or has the combat level, which he could acquire in F2P.

Great to do, but not something the average new member would be able to do.... and for that matter, probably can't come anywhere near affording a full slayer helm.

I'd say lost city is a great quest to do if you want to kill stuff and have 60+ attack.

Squab unleashes Megiddo! Completed all quests and hard diaries. 75+ Skiller. (At one point.) 2000+ total. 99 Magic.

The rest of my sig. You know you wanna see it.

Well, I'm not saying do it right away. I meant do it when your ready if you think you're going to continue slaying. I assumed that's what people perceived it as, but apparently I was wrong.

Finally on here to update that I have officially quit! It's been fun.

Aim to finish all of Recipe for Disaster. In finishing it, you'll have explored most of the world, raised most of the skills, and learned a lot about RS.

Doing recipe of disaster is a great idea, I loved the quest and found it a lot of fun, not to mention its cut up into nice simple sub-quests.

You can do some of the fairy quests to get a free level 40 farming (approx). If you then start herb runs you can make 150k per ~70 mins doing a 5 min farm run.

At 85 combat, the banshee boss really isn't that hard on my p2p... just wear dhide, pray melee, then ranged when the rangers are summoned. It's a short quest if done right.

With the matter of the full slayer helm, it's not the price that's hard. It's the time it takes for the ability for the full slayer helm.

That being said, do as many quests as you can! Also, focus on getting as many tasks done as you can as well.

Good luck on your journey as a member ;)

I became a member relatively recently myself, so here goes:

Lost city, Druidic Ritual, and Wolf Whistle to start off. These get you decent dragon weaps (dragon longsword and dragon dagger, which you should get with super poison on it), and access to two skills.

Doing the Fremmenik Trials, and then the quests Fremmenik Isles, will get you one of the best melee helmets as a reward. Then, doing the two Miscellenia quests will fully open up managing miscellenia for some easy money/raw material collection.

Priest In Peril, Nature Spirit, and Ghosts Ahoy are great quests to give access to Morytania. Ghosts Ahoy gives the ectophial, a free one click teleport.

Should get you started.

Sounds good.

Btw, Troacctid should be working on a quest guide or something about the order you can do quests in. I think.
