If the bank was absolutely empty, as in: no quest items what-so-ever, no achievement diary items, no runes, no weapons, absolutely NOTHING.

 

Would recovering this account be worth it?

IMO, why not? providing you have the time - with so many non combat/skilled options of making money in the modern world. and those are some respectable stats. Unless you've got another account you are more willing to spend your time on.

IMO I would get bored with it if all of a sudden my stats jumped to those. Nothing left to achieve.

By no achievment items do you mean you don't have them now or you haven't done them? Because if you've done all tasks through hard (Or most at least) you can get like 600k free from lumbridge to get a start.

*ehem* Of course. If you want to play again. With high combat stats, regaining wealth is extremely easy.

 

I don't know if by "no quest items and no achievement diary items" if you mean you just don't have the rewards, or you don't even have them finished. If it's the earlier, diary items and quest items can easily be obtained back from the NPCs for respective quests and diaries(Or, "tasks" now).

Think of it this way, if you just make another account, it will have no weapons/armor/items/cash and very low stats. This account has no weapons/armor/items/cash but very good stats.

You can make money back by doing diaries, or getting some daily stuff. Then start up farming and dungeoneer for a melee chaotic, get some black hide, snake boots, sw cape, glory, neitiznot, barrows gloves, broad bolts, rune crossbow, your new chaotic, a defender, darklight, sharks, ppots, super set (and range pot) and an elemental titan with scrolls. Welfare tds until claws, and you're back.

 

Farming and dungeoneering combines moneymaking and getting a great weapon, that's why I mention it.
