ZMI questions.

1) Is there an ideal time on repairing them? It just feels like they degrade too fast and it's gonna cost a bunch.

 

I'll be runecrafting at the zmi place which will be Ourania teleport > short dangerous path > castle wars tele bank > rinse and repeat. (If there's a faster method then please, do tell.)

 

2) With 99 defence, 70 pray, 61 agility; should I emphasize magic defence or lightness?

Reparing what? Pouches? That's free, right?

 

It's faster to bank at the Ourania banker. Make sure to have a full bank.

you can have 250-300sh armour while only weighting 0kg.. (and -1000kg or 0kg doesn't matter at all):

 

-all 3 lightweight gear.

-dwarven helmet

-sc melee outfit

-blessed (or better) spirit shield

-staff

-fury (or glory)

 

then you can easily solo-run zmi (and thus prevent all lag/misclicking for familairs)

I was under the impression repairing pouches cost money. But I'm glad it doesn't.

 

I forgot about that banker. So it'd be Tele Ourania > Bank > Make runes > rinse and repeat. My bank is full of crap anyway :thumbup:

 

I think I'm going to take my chances with the ZMI world pulli, but if it's laggy I'll go for your setup :thumbup:

1. Doesn't cost anything - but to save time, be on lunars to use NPC Contact to repair them.

 

For your method; I'd go with this instead -- Ourania teleport > short path > Bank at Ourania (Paying with fire runes) > Repeat

 

I'd also HIGHLY recommend filling your bank, excluding worn gear, pouches, and fire runes. That way instead of clicking bank for each rune, you can do bank all, and still have pouches & fire runes with you.

 

2. I'd focus more towards lightness; as you can always take a piece of food out and heal, as well as crafting in world 70 will save you alot of damage..

Depends on your level, I would take them if you are under 75-80 rc, and wear a dueling ring in case you don't craft them (if not taking laws/astrals)

 

Also super energy mixes - can heal you while restoring your energy without needing an additional slot for food i guess. They are also 2 doses, as the 4 doses of a super energy is too much.

Thanks for the tips vex. Found myself having to castle wars tele a few times :o I think I'm okay for food though, once I wore d'hide. I ran out of run a little quicker though but I didn't mind resting for that.

I'd bring a few thousand fire runes, because you'll need to bank a few times (to fill familiar and to fill pouches) and it should take about 60 fire runes a run - and crafting the runes from the altar won't get you enough fires to bank with. :wink:

1) As soon as it degrades, use NPC contact. You'll usually make enough runes to cover NPC contact + Tele ourania. Do use tele ourania + full bank. Have your fire runes in invo and placeholders for every non-combination (mud, lava, etc.) rune, with the exception of fire runes. Make sure to bring a bunch of fires with you.

2) Use the stup said above. You'll need some energy restore, I think, with that level.

You don't your defenses that high, you can keep Protect from Missiles/Deflect Missiles all the time with maybe a defence boosting prayer, there's an altar next to the stairs that lead to ZMI, so you'll always come across it.

 

Have your bank FULL, so each time you go to bank, hit deposit all items in inventory and all runes will be deposited, but the kind of rune you're using to use the bank (You have to pay the banker with runes to use it) so you just one kind of rune in your inventory, say 10k fires for example.

 

Your route should be

 

Ourania Teleport > Bank > Craft Runes > Repeat
