Little over a month until the Super Bowl, and playoffs are already starting the week after next. Anyone have any predictions? Favorites?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Personally, I'm hoping against hope the Redskins make it this year. We're barely in it for division title and we've almost clinched the Wildcard. 14 years is long enough to wait for another title.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Oh, and in 2008, it's going to be held in Arizona, like an hour and a half away from me :wink: .

Hard to pick an opposing team but i just hope the giants are there.

There is a nice new stadium in Arizona..correct? From what i've heard there is not a retractable roof but the grass field rolls out on train tracks because inside the dome it doesnt get enough light...pretty genius thinking to grass inside a dome, takes a lot of ingenuity to produce something new like that

Yeah, they're building anew stadium since the one the Cardinals use now is the ASU football stadium. It really makes no sense to me, seeing as the Redskins VS Cards game I went to was the most packed the stadium was all year (46,000 people), and this stadium seats something like 75,000. And yeah, they're doing it to meet the "Super Bowl Regulations". Has to be a dome feild without turf, so the rollout feild works out pretty nice.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

As for a Colts VS Giants game, that'd be pretty awesome to have Manning vs. Manning :) . Either way, NFC FTW.

as a Falcons fan, my season is over, but from what I've observed, and its hard to deny it, the Colts are going to win it, they're basically just unstoppable.

Yea probably gona be be Giants vs Colts , or Seatle. That be sweet to see the Manning brothers battle out.

If you have not heard yet, his 18 eyar old son was found dead in his apartment in Florida. Law enforcement is saying that it may have been a suicide, but not much information has been released or discovered.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Anyhow, as long as the Colts don't play like they did last game agaist the Chargers, then we will be alright. Unfortunately, sometimes the defense looks at the scoreboard and sees that they are ahead, so they slack off. As long as Freeney, Manning, Edge, and Harrison stay healthy, I think we'll be just fine. That is, if Dungy plays the starters. Since we have the spot in the playoffs already, I don't know if he will play the starters, especially now since we do not have the record.

i rest my case, im not sure if minnesota can crack playoffs the way they played last week, they play a rejuvanated (HAH! never thought id hear myself say that) Baltimore team, coming off a big win vs Green Bay and close vs Chicago (good luck rofl), theyd have to win both games and a WAS collapse to get in, good luck, i dont like your chances

Redskins have the talent to make it, but I doubt they'll be consistent enough to do it. I'd say Seahawks vs. Colts if the Seahawks don't play the Redskins.
