January 12, 201115 yr This is how the RS homepage looks for me. I've heard others have had the same issue. Half the time I load the page, It looks like this.Do many have this problem, or am I just one among a few?
January 12, 201115 yr What browser are you using? Are you using any plugins to "speed" up the internet by caching? Looks to me like the css didnt load properly to tell the browser what divs go where. Try doing a forced refresh and see if that solves it. Mercifull <3 Suzi "We don't want players to be able to buy their way to success in RuneScape. As I said, it doesn't happen all the time. Force reload did work this time.
January 12, 201115 yr Moving this to the Tech & Computers forum so you can get some better input from people who might be able to fix it. It's probably an issue with your browser so that forum is best suited for you :) I edit for the [Tip.It Times]. I rarely write in [My Blog]. I am an [Ex-Moderator].
January 12, 201115 yr What mercifull said is right I think - the css probably didn't load properly, so a hard refresh is your best bet when this happens (on any site as well as here). "It's not a rest for me, it's a rest for the weights." - Dom Mazzetti
January 12, 201115 yr If ctrl + F5 doesn't work, try ctrl + 0. Might be a simple resize, although it looks much more like a css issue.
January 13, 201115 yr I've had this happen every once in a while too. Nothing near as bad as what you posted but it does get messed up a bit. I usually just refresh the page and it fixes itself, not sure if it's a problem on Jagex's end or ours. Do you use Firefox perchance? January 13, 201115 yr I don't think it's on Jagex's side as I have never had this problem, although I'm not on the latest version of Firefox.
January 14, 201115 yr It's either Jagex or Firefox then. I get this same problem with Firefox 3.6.13 for OS 10.6.6.
January 14, 201115 yr No problems for me and I use the latest version of Firefox for Ubuntu, if that helps any.
January 14, 201115 yr Author It could be about Adblock, but If it is, I don't mind the bugs. If you still want ads, you can just whitelist runescape.com.
January 14, 201115 yr The only site I have a problem with because of adblock is youtube... "It's not a rest for me, it's a rest for the weights." - Dom Mazzetti
