Hi, Quick question, what is the most efficent way to distribute you MTK workers. Everyone seems to do logs but what do they do with the other 5 people? Thanks.

10 on herbs and the rest on fish is the most consistent, however you can make huge profit from good nests you would get from maples.

With the given seed distribution of tip.it (and my experiences) wc is still the best thing to do! Closely followed by herblore & mining (which are equal).

This. You get the herbs, which sell quite nicely, plus maples, which are decent, plus crushed nests, plus seeds (with the chance of magic seeds, yew seeds, and other expensive seeds to put you over the top). Even god bird eggs if you wish. You also get a few things of jewelry, but those are pretty insignificant.

I do nine on maples and six on herbs. I've had decent luck with nests so I'm happy. If you are looking to take some variables out though I would do for herbs and mining.

10 on herbs, no doubt. The other 5 are really between fish and maples. Up to you. If you like risk and god bird eggs, do maples. If you like consistent profit and less work (not having to take seeds out of nests, crushing nests, etc.), do fish.

Anyone who says the 5 should go on fish are completely behind the times.

There was a time when fish was the best; but now mining makes farrr better money than fish.

 

But aside from that 5 maples pwns, people bang on about "risk" but its not risk at all.

 

With 10 herb 5 maple I have yet to make less than 1.5mil a week selling the stuff (thats 1mil profit when u take the 525k to refill coffers)

And depending on luck you often get much much more than this.

 

The herb coal comes in at around 1m - 1.2m a week

And herb fish are around 800k - 1m a week

These last figures r rough since I not done them in ages but based on current ge prices etc it's about where they should fall.

So when should i sell my herbs from MTK? Ive got herbs worth 7-8 mil, but i feel they should be worth 10+mil :-s

I'd jsut sell em now, there's no reason to suspect the herb market is gonna go back up anytime soon since its been down for several months and is stable in price atm; plus juju farming has increased herb supplies.

Fishing is really "terribly" for money..

 

I just used my calculator again (updated the prices):

 

Per worker per day (when updating bi-daily) it gives:

wc:   7743
herb: 9622
fish: 5414
flax: 5055
mine: 8262

So atm herblore is the best option indeed. - However a week ago herblore was at "7.5k" per worker per day.. Herblore seems to depend a lot on the economy of the moment.

WC depends on the bird nest prices mostly, though the price of high level seeds do influence it quite a bit.

 

The calculation for my mining sheet MIGHT be slightly wrong, though it shouldn't matter more than 5% of the final price..

 

So today I can conclude the best would be 10 herb, 5 mining.

10 Herbs and 5 Maples will give you the chance for the highest profit, however 10 Herbs and 5 Coal will give you the most consistent profit. I personally go with the first option because usually I will get a few 'high value' seeds and I don't think I've ever made less than 1m profit per week from it but if you would rather play it safe go with coal.

People also seem to forgot that maple logs are worth 45-50gp each, it really adds up and i sell all my logs now and then and I get a free mils i've forgot about xD
