I would recommend rushing down there at like lvl 5 range but I would say 60-70 is a good place to start. One thing I look for when I decide if I want to/can range a monster is the arrows. If there are two arrow piles on the ground at once it is taking you too long to kill that monster so just move on. So basically, just go and try it out, it's all about what you hit. 2. How many Iron Knives and other misc Ranging Gear have you been through? Well I have probably gone through 10 crystal bows (for luring) and about 90-120k iron knives. I am not sure about the knives but I figure it's pretty close to that. 3. What gear do you use? Just the standard stuff.
