brad1431
I have never done this, but I want to give it a try. Can someone give me an intro on how to do this? Thanks
Jimmyw3000
you brave soul. ok, firstly put away all sharp objects surrounding yourself. Practise a few calming breaths and other such techniques. When joining a team, most people will say things like 'f30 5:5 c6" meaningg floor 30, size 5 for 5 ppl, complexity 6. trade the ppl who say a floor you want to do. inside the dg, you're pretty much screwed. kingmickez25
I dont have much knowledge of this skill all my xp came from TOG but here goes. Before You go into find out and understand what the following words mean. RushingKeyersprestige resetting. also i know there is a cc that will help u make items for that game so u have the best item u can possibly have dont remember what it is. Make sure u do have the best Dung weapons/armour etc for ur level or most teams will drop you.

kingmickez25
Depends On what your gonna use Are You gonna Melle. Are You Gonna MageAre you gonna Range. Most People Overall Agree though if you can get a hold of a shadow silk that be a good item to bind.
All_Is_Great
It's not THAT bad. Problem is with all the high expectations of team dungeoneering. Basically, they're gonna suck as much as you, so just lower your expectations to a 2hr large, and don't get frustrated if you die.
brad1431
I dont usually play for 2 hours at a time, mostly just play for a half hour then do something else, then come back later.. I plan to melee, look at my stats, no point of ranging or maging.
All_Is_Great
Well half an hour at a time isn't going to get you anywhere trying to do large dungeons.
vettro
I would set aside around an hour and a half to do find a team and finish a large dungeon. Don't rage quit. Good luck finding a decent team. I've gone three dungeons in a row where we couldn't finish because people rage quitted. Be patient. If you have RS friends, that would definitely be the way to go. eyeye
STOP! IT HURTS http://forum.tip.it/topic/271612-comprehensive-dungeoneering-guide/ This is the dungeoneering bible, learn everything in it, then learn it again. If you are going to dungeoneer in world 117, i suggest you set aside some time to do these things first: get a good weapon (prom 2h, spear if you can't find 2h) do some mediums and attempt to get a shadow silk hood, as you can flly by the teammates getting thwacked by monsters Learn to key, people in w117 haven't a clue in the world on the proper way to move through a dungeon Do as jimmy says, it will be the most aggrevating levels you've ever gotten. Also, if you have a friend who gets on at the same times as you do, try and duo, that way you can count on one other person (and only deal with three idiots) As far as when you're in w117, get high level teams, as they will move more smoothly and usually have higher total levels (120+ for your stats)
Alistair
Agree with vettro. Finishing dungeons in under half an hour in w117 isn't impossible but it's nothing near likely. It shouldn't go over 2 hours; even if you're doing something stupid like clearing every single room that shouldn't happen. I guess use a Promethium 2h with Shadow Silk Hood > Promethium Platebody Be communicative and respond to communication. Always make law runes as soon as possible (or alternatively have them bound) so you can Group Gatestone Teleport whenever you're required, and always have at least basic tools (disregard questions of who's tooler)

Obtaurian
how do I get the items that I want to bind? I got a silk hood once I think... You should've bound the hood. I'm 85 dungeoneering and I've never seen one. For weapons and armor, use the Dung Smith clan chat and just ask for someone to help you make them. And I agree with everyone else -- you are not going to be doing half-hour larges in 117. No way. To put it bluntly, [bleep] off.

aspeeder
is there a tip it group of DG'ers. Could I just start a post and ask if any tip it memebers wanna DG with me?The problem is that most of the people looking to establish permanent teams or groups are very high levels, as in 90-100+ reqs. With the time commitment, the need to coordinate floors, and the difference in levels you just have to grim and bear 117 or try and make a group from friends you meet. I personally don't mind 117 that much, I've only had a few people rage quit on me; I just go in expecting to take 1:30 and I don't mind if that happens since I have the mindset of I have nothing better to be doing. http://i700.photobucket.com/albums/ww6/aspeeder/Siggy_zpsewaiux2t.png 99 Strength since 6/02/10 99 Attack since 9/19/10 99 Constitution since 10/03/10 99 Defense since 3/14/11 99 Slayer since 8/30/11 99 Summoning since 9/10/11 99 Ranged since 09/18/11 99 Magic since 11/12/11 99 Prayer since 11/15/11 99 Herblore since 3/29/12 99 Firemaking since 5/15/12 99 Smithing since 10/04/12 99 Crafting since 9/16/13 99 Agility since 9/23/13 99 Dungeoneering since 1/1/14 99 Fishing since 2/4/14 99 Mining since 2/28/14 99 Farming since 6/04/14 99 Cooking since 6/11/14 99 Runecrafting since 10/10/14 9 Fletching since 11/11/14 99 Thieving since 11/14/14 99 Woodcutting since 11/20/14 99 Construction since 12/03/14 99 Divination since 2/22/15 99 Hunter since 2/23/15 99 Invention since 01/20/17 99 Archaeology since 5/14/22 99 Necromancy since 11/22/25 Quest Point Cape since 08/20/09 Maxed since 2/23/15 Fire Cape since 02/27/13 Slayer: 3 Leaf-Bladed Swords, 8 Black Masks, 2 Hexcrests, 26 Granite Mauls, 5 Focus Sights, 33 Abyssal Whips, 9 Dark Bows, 1 Whip Vine, 3 Staffs of Light, 15 Polypore Sticks Dragon: 10 Draconic Visages, 7 Shield Left Halves, 20 Dragon Boots, 40 Dragon Med Helms, 8 Dragon Platelegs, 6 Dragon Spears, 20 Dragon Daggers, 5 Dragon Plateskirts, 1 Dragon Chainbody, 63 Off-hand Dragon Throwing Axes, 19 Dragon Longswords, 27 Dragon Maces, 1 Dragon Ward Treasure Trails: Saradomin Full Helm, Ranger Boots, Rune Body (t), Saradomin Vambraces, Various God Pages Misc:1 Onyx,1 Ahrim's Hood, 1 Guthan's Chainskirt, 1 Demon Slayer Boots
Quyneax
There is currently no Tip.It dungeoneering team list. I would say that you should first try to dg with your friends because they won't rage when you mess up. After that, try people from the forums (who may still rage at you) and only after that try randoms. Zaaps1
Another thing you might see pretty often on any dungeoneering world lobby is floor number+number. Ex. 45+3 This tells you two important things and oftentimes will be the only information advertised by a host. The first number tells you the floor number, so in this case the host wants to form a team to do floor 45. The second number, after the plus sign, indicates how many more players need to join the team in order to fill all 5 slots. In this case, the host needs 3 more people. If anyone is using this format, you can immediately assume they are doing a large dungeon on 5:5 (5-man team in a dungeon designed for 5 people to complete) complexity 6. Generally, if there are any deviations, they will be mentioned. For example, if the host wanted to do a medium map instead, he or she would probably advertise: "45 med+3", or something similar. Also, if the host wants any sort of other requirements in order for you to join the team, he or she will mention them after the second number. Popular ones are item requirements and level requirements. Item requirements are typically limited to the Shadow Silk Hood. Level requirements simply mean that the host wants everyone in the team to be at a certain level, since dungeoneering level is the best predictor of dungeoneering prowess we have at the moment outside of actual experience with the other player. It is best to respect these requirements, especially knowing that the host can easily check both of these (level requirements immediately after you join the party, item requirements once the dungeon begins) and kick you if you do not meet them. All you end up doing is wasting everyone's time, including your own. Long story short, if the host advertises with requirements, follow them. EDIT: Oh, combat level is another level requirement you might see often. It should be pretty easy to tell the different between dungeoneering level requirements and combat level requirements. Combat level ones typically don't go lower than 120+. Dungeoneering level requirements typically don't go higher than 100+ or 105+. ~It's Super Effective!
