Why can't F2P have...?

Are you a F2P player? Rant about the updates/additions you think F2P needs. Granted, the reason will always be "because F2Pers don't pay" but post here anyway.

I would say the accumulator, i mean really how many 100% f2p'ers ever get a 99 in f2p?

 

Quite a few actully. Take our own Moderator "Forsakenmage" for example. 100% fps yet she's accumilated quite a few 99's and I belive still going on to finish her goal of 99 Range.

well accumulator needs slayer(level 18) and you have to go to burthope and non mems only have access to only a few capes.(cooking defence prayer hitpoints and maybe a few others)

Ok, heres one, atm non members (especially skiller) have a huge price gap between significant items as you make cash, As you start its fairly ok. Bronze, iron, black, mith, addy then rune, but after that? Bearing in mind rune is around 200k atm the next major thing is 500k (wizzy t) then 1 mill (wizzy gt) then 1.8 mill (guthix) then 2.8 (zammy) then 5 mill (sara). The next item is a santa, 12 mill.

 

 

 

Compared to mems these are huge price gaps. Im not saying give non mems tonnes of new items. Just some 1's inbetween the exsisting ones that make the next expensive not 1 mill away.

i think f2p needs some mage revamping since its almost useless on f2p (except for teles) it needs something to even out the combat triangle a little bit since in f2p melee is overpowered and at least range gets addy arrows and green hide armour

 

 

 

magers get a choice of blue or black robes lol i guess brown if u like monks

 

 

 

i dont think they deserve this since of course u dont pay as mentioned and u deserve whatever jagex is willing to give you for free but i think you need this to even things out a bit

 

 

 

but p2p really is the way to go :thumbsup:

Give them rune arrows, and Magic bows, woulden't kill rs, they suck anyway (Arrows aspecially) -.-

 

 

 

well arrows i can see but change to were yew longs can shoot them since mage bow has specs and specs are members only as it should be :P

im sorry. ftp skillcapes will never happen. Right now there would only be a limited number of skillcapes that a f2p can access due to the npc's locations. there could be wc, defence and some others.

 

 

 

but some like strength, attack, and many others will be limited...

BTW. I just joined this site... And I p2p. But I was a free player up until like level 43 when I beat Dragonslayer...

im sorry. ftp skillcapes will never happen. Right now there would only be a limited number of skillcapes that a f2p can access due to the npc's locations. there could be wc, defence and some others.

 

 

 

but some like strength, attack, and many others will be limited...

 

This obstacle has a solution. In f2p worlds, the skillcape sellers can wander around in different places. The attack and strength people could wander around in say the duel arena. Ignatius Vulcan can walk around the forests somewhere near Rimmington and Port Sarim. (And you get the idea)

 

 

 

Another solution is have a portal to teleport you to where the person is in the skill cape. This has been done with the Halloween quest, so it is quite possible to do this, however, I think the latter solution is much more simple.

Though I am P2P, I think that F2P'ers should get the forums and capes of achievement. Come on Jagex, just those two things wouldn't wreck P2P or F2P, yeesh. -.-

 

 

 

f2p doesnt get the forums for the same reason f2p doesnt get to vote in polls

 

because u can auto make accounts and get them to sway the votes

1100 total achieved 03/02/09 880thousandth to reach it :P

1200 total achieved 29/09/11 1.23millionth to reach it :P

Yew and Magic Bows. Rune arrows. Maple bows suck :cry:

 

How about instead of more bows, and a more expensive arrow you would only use pking, how about low leveled crossbows are allowed for f2p. Maybe up to mithril or adamant c'bows, and up to mithril bolts? Only plain bolts though.

I agree there should be more bank space.

 

I'm f2p and at lvl 30 my bank was almost full (and I mean useful items, not heaps of rubbish).

 

 

 

More quests would be good aswell.

 

You see quite a few high levelled f2p players and I'm sure more quests would exite them.

 

 

 

Member's get all the updates, f2p should get some too!

as simple as this:

 

for each new thing a f2p gets, its one reason less to pay jagex to get the good stuff

 

and do you have ANY idea how introducing any member item to f2p would affect the market especially with the GE floating about

 

you give f2p sharks and every fish will tank, sharks would be 30ea then how will the honest p2p fishers make any real money then?

 

and this goes for everything

 

bows, arrows, fletching in general

 

it would be the santa hat thing all over again... only backwards... it would ruin RS economy (if more is posible..) as we know it

 

trust me, giving f2p member stuff... baaaad idea..

 

besides f2p allready have many formelly p2p stuff.. you know what im talking about

See that? It's not "Why Can't F2P have...?!" as in "This is why F2P cannot have ___". It's "Why Can't F2P have ....?!" as in "Dear me, I do wish that _____ would be available to F2P".

hmmm... i think that the 2nd one you suggested COULD work ::' I would love to see this. But the first one, who would take the peoples places in the warriors guild? IMO they're irreplaceable :lol:

 

 

 

The portal one could work but to make sure that there are no bugs or anything maybe make it so the get teleported into another realm or such and there is a circle of all the f2p skills skillcapes all in a circle around you. That would be pretty cool \'

if f2p get anything it should be fletching, atleast then they can make their own ammo [f2p have ec for mages and smith for melee, but cant make their own range ammo? screwy imo]

For the first thing, the people would only wander around here in f2p worlds. In p2p worlds, they would be in their normal locations. You can alter the f2p game and leave the p2p part of the game unchanged. It's been done before, and is quite possible. I think it would also be the most simple and the most effective. It wouldn't require making another area on the world map.

there wouldnt need to be another area on the worldmap. just like random events they just get whisked away to a small area with the vendors. that would be easier then to go find the attack vendor all the way up in white wolf mountain ;)
