Gandalf14141
So wouldn't that mean they would go up then? I know that there are frost dragons, but the majority of people won't want to spend money on them. Finally on here to update that I have officially quit! LitterBug
With the free trade update coming in a few hours do you think it will make d bones go up or go down? I have enough for soul split right now but should i wait because d bone prices could go down and i could do it then? or now because they could also go up costing me more anyone have any ideas? In my opinion - it'll probably go up for a few days before it comes down in price and stabilizes. Like most new things, some people will want to try it a bit before they get tired of it and move on to something new. I figure there must be a handful of people who would train prayer to get an advantage in Pvp. That will drive up demand in along with that a increase in price. It doesn't make sense if people would buy less dbones then usual - you would still have about the same number of people training prayer as usual, and there's an additional amount of players who want to train it now for the wildy. However, your guess is as good as mine. When I see different discussions about whether an items price will increase or decrease - there are both valid reasons for either way. Even so, there's only a couple of hours before free trade comes into action - there's very little point in trying to hoard dbones now. It'll probably make the most sense to hold off on training prayer for the moment - wait a month or two then buy it when prices stabilize.

All_Is_Great
I reccommend using dagannoth bones and/or frost dragon bones. Dbones are REALLY slow for a skill that should be fast to train.
highlanders
Dbones are over 300k xp an hour, that's not slow. But yeah, prayer is a really boring skill. I've got 20k dbones banked and it's taking so long I had to take a break and do other things. Whenever I get around it I'm doing 95-99 on frosties. 2480+ total

I had to altar 15k dbones recently, and halfway through, I switched to dag bones, then after several k of that, I did 1k frost bones because I couldn't take it anymore :P
Quyneax
You guys are silly... doing 15k bones in one go is not the way to go. You break it up. There really is no point in saving up 100m unless you merch... better to spend cash per level. I'd expect bones to rise due to less green dragons, and to fall due to free trade & demon ashes. foursideking
I'm pretty sure the place is non-cannonable, seeing as it is in pvp territory. Mind you I'd laugh if jagex messed this one up.
