GWD or Barrows

Featured Replies

Are they two very different things? Yes. But I am being eco-forum-friendly (Its a word) and grouping two threads I was going to post into one. I guess they kinda connect, because I need to know which one will earn me more cash. The stats are down in the sig, and I know little about GWD, and nothing about Barrows. GWD mostly refers to killing the Zammy or Bandos bosses, obviously not by myself though. The only difference in the stats is I plan on getting 80 DEF and ATT before attempting any of these. Keep in mind that I'm looking for money, not difficulty, not exp, not fun. This one is all about the GP for me. I also need to know if I should raise my Prayer or Summoning, because they're pretty low. Any suggestions? It would also be helpful is someone could point me in the direction of a good guide for either options from the site. Thanks.

At your stats I'm not sure that either would be good money. GWD is better than barrows unless you're in a very large team though, I can tell you that for sure.

For money I'd recommend killing dragons for their bones. Green dragons are now uncrowded if you don't mind 4 iteming and fending off PKers, otherwise blue dragons in that watchtower cave are pretty good as well. If you train your stats up for a while by camping dragons then you'll get to the point where you could reasonably 4-5 man Bandos and make it a more feasible cash option.

IMO you'd be better off with barrows using a black salamander and praying

The corp beast, is, well, just a corp beast. He doesnt even have any friends.

[spoiler=Other Quotes]tbh idk why this makes me laugh so hard

All DFS threads turn into efficiency flame wars >.>

>OP asks "why use DFS?"

>everyone says "there is no reason"

>someone says "stop bashing people who use DFS, efficiency troll ass clown"

>thread is now a flame fest

There's plenty of good guides in AOW(Archive of Wisdom) section.I'd say atleast 68 summoning(for a buny) and 70 prayer(for piety). You won't be able to solo so just find/make teams yourself.

Any tips on what skills to level help and how? Besides the obvious prayer. And maybe even summoning, but I'm not too in the know on that one.

Attack and Defense to 80, Summoning to 68 for Bunyip and War Tortoise and maybe Magic to 80 for mage defense (not essential but it helps). As you said, Prayer to 70 aswell.

GWD is horrible for you.

Barrows could get you anywhere from 500k-1m + .hr

It's great you know what you're talking about rustiod. Everything you've said is 100% accurate a true.

That being said...your a [bleep]ing [bleep] douchebag, and none of your advice will ever (or should ever) be taken seriously because of it.

disregard good advice because the giver is a douche

THAT MAKES YOU A BETTER PERSON

Before attempting (team) GWD get at least a chaotic, piety and a war tortoise.

For barrows, you can use a black salamander. Get 82 magic for ice blitz and use the blitz + salamander method to save a bit on pray pots (of course you'd be paying for runes but those are a little cheaper).
