I also just recently finished desert treasure and got ancients.I'm working on prayer, however money is extremely tight. What bones should I buy on a low budget? Also other tips/advice on merchanting? With COG you don't freeze the brothers, just tank them and mage them with your strongest spell. If you wanted to do something like that, you definitely need an arcane stream necklace. I don't think you have the defense to tank the brothers, however you could use a method where you only pray on karil and ahrim and freeze/entangle the melee brothers while you mage them. Until you get 80 magic for claws of guthix/charge, slayer dart is likely your best bet for the melee brothers. Although I don't plan on tanking or doing slayer dart, I was going to rely completly on black salamander since all I can really afford to wear is a rune plate, d legs, glory, obby cape, helm of neitiznot and d boots. Until I can get some decent cash for some good armor and weapons I'm just going to stick to this style. Johannas Posted March 29, 2011 Share Posted March 29, 2011 With over 200 chests done my drop rate is one piece from every 20 chests. If money is tight, then slayer dart is the best option. Alternatively use ancients and get the FOG robes/staff of light if you can to minimise costs. I strongly recommend getting an Enchanced Excalibur aswell. Getting a bonecrusher from Dung might be a good option to get prayer up, if you leave bones on the ground. Thank you to tripsis for an awesome sig! I just burst with SOL and ahrim top/v skirt now. Much easier and always end up with more runes than started with(except waters).
