bodder
I make it a point to go to Lumbridge atleast once a week to help a true newbie. You know a true newbie from a noob by how they act and how they ask for help. If it's a noob, it'll beg for good and ask for armor and weapons. Newbies just ask a lot of questions, like where to mine, how to make gold, where places are, etc. I usually lead them around, tell them good ways to make gold and if I have the time and ore, I'll make them some armor. :D [edit] A guy I barely knew at the time (we're best rs friends now) bought me full rune when I was finally able to wear it. :) Nice people like you who give, and yes it is nice to get every once in a while. Nice people are everywhere, but do you make an attempt to be nice to them? THanks, Ian
spooferfish
People dont have to give free stuff to be nice, i hope you people realize that... Good to see there are people like that out there. And I suggest you change your sig..selling chars is illegal.

zubeedoo
You know one of the reasons I wish I had more cash is that I want to be able to be more helpful to my friends. Most of the nice things I do now are things like giving people the rune pickheads they dropped while afk and things like that. Quit runescape, now playing EVE-Online(Mail Cambarus and say hi  )
evilgoldy
Oh, how happy I (lvl5 that time) was when i got full bronze from one guy (we were doing 'Shield of Array' together). I was so tankfull, and I kept thinking how the hell will I ever repay him? But soon, as I overleveled him, he begin to ask for money, and it was getting worse, so he ended up on 'ignore' list. Nowadays, when i'm boosting smithing lvl, i like to give free sets of steel stuff at Falador square, and even if I point out that its only for players below lvl20 or so, there is always some 40-80lvl jerk who wants the stuff!? Damn!
ktmcf121
in my experience, being nice to people always comes back around, and not always from the same people. i seem to find that while training somewhere, if you just start up a conversation with the people there, SOMEONE will have something in common with you and there are so few people who play this game for fun anymore that they really appreciate it. then after they have a full inventory, they'll give you a rune med drop or something. likewise, if im training somewhere and i get an item i dont really need, i'll give it to someone who i've been talking to. sometimes they end up on ignore because they keep begging for more, but most of the time the people who actually talk to you will appreciate it. Mirror
Well I met this great person. I found him when i was at lvl 13 and he showed me around at level 75 he was. That was amazing and he kinda like to help me. He helped me with quests and stuff. But now I dont see him. Hey what can you do. A reflection is just a distorted reality held by glass and your mind.

He's p2p, I'm f2p and he has lots of money, while I have very little money. I offered to pay him back little by little for my rune, he won't accpet :( . reborndraken
when i first started this time around i was walking from one place to another and a couple of ppl gave me things to improve upon what i had , so i make it a point of giving out drops ( usually mith ) to low levels and yes some get greedy but some just take it for what it is a helping hand . After all what goes around comes around Kharma
