Xina it's not.

People are just messing around. If they truely messed with you, they'd just be jealous.

Anywho, WE DO NEED A SAMPLE OF THAT VIRUS TO STUDY, SO WE NOW HOW TO CURE IT AND WE NOW HOW TO FIGHT IT.

It's a REALLY big shaft.

I didn't catch fire, I used the can of hairspray as a flamethrower and pointed it at my arm.

how are you going to ignore my posts when I'm offering to let you live as my vassal in two weeks time?

Earth, construction robots are a lot more expensive than human workers due to the huge startup cost. Retech already worked it out.

Retech, I would advise you plan for contingencies in the future. You are excellent at setting out plans and crunching numbers, but you don't account for events/when things don't go according to plan.

Jon, I would love to come, but I am currently on Astare 3, so I imagine I would need to be scanned for the bacteria before I can leave.

I was going to get some, but Jacques was like "no kill it all with fire @@@"

Honestly, I don't think a cure would be all that useful. We'd be better off developing a countervirus to kill the bacteria.

I better remember to learn this dance (minus the fire, swordplay, costumes, and the other peoples on stage). This is going to hurt!

The foot/knee work is what I'm primarily focusing on.

Well I can develop a cure or counter, since I am already there + I'm not affected by it.

And I did make some contingencies, but not the right sort. I had scanners and defences against pirate raids, land-based attacks, and large sandstorms. I wasn't aware that the planet could even be supporting life, so I guess I just overlooked that.

And we sould probaly make sure that the Sarlane doesn't leave the planet until we've figured this out.

So are we sure that it's a bacteria?

The only difference between a disagreement between friends, an argument between strangers, and a feud between enemies is the ability to reconcile.

So who's infected with the virus? The last time anyone was infected with something, it was Chi with a cancer of some sort and he asked me to do something that I freaked out, ran to my room, and lock the door. And before that there was the zombie virus.........and I don't know anything from before the zombie virus cause I wasn't there.

Chi never had a cancer.

Oh what EVER! I forgot what it was! Wiping my own memory from the old Space is quiet hard considering all the mental scars I have.

Yeah, we have bigger things to worry about than your mental state, so either help kill the virus/bacteria, or go and hide in a corner somewhere.

2Xeo5.png

Or how about I kill you next session considering how rude it was to tell me to go hide in a corner.

>Implying you would get close

>Implying you would not be seperated into halves the second you tried.

AAAAANYWAY. Retech, I figure it is a bacteria because it is similar to necrotizing fasciitis, but on a faster scale. We could always try basic antibiotics on it, but that is at best a temporary solution. The best idea would be to develop a virus/toxin to kill it without harming humans, and then putting it into the air circulation.

Hopefully.

So... do people have anthrax immunity nowadays?

a70c7.png

Oh yeah I should probably say what I know of the virus

It spreads through touch I believe, and is also airbourne. It seems to infect the person Via their lungs and cuts on their body. A cut will make the virus reproduce faster and begin killing faster. The lungs are much slower, but they're still dangerous and will lead to death.

It eats flesh, the symptoms seem to be very easy to spot when the person has reached the later stages of infection. Also Jacques was able to see the microbes, so that's good, if he can spare w/e he was using (as in create more)

It looks like a bluish greeny infection on the flesh that slowly eats the flesh.

Oh yeah being on Astare 3 means it can survive high temps (300 degrees celsius)

It's a REALLY big shaft.

how are you going to ignore my posts when I'm offering to let you live as my vassal in two weeks time?

(BTW, I lied along while back, the post with my response to the questionare, I fixed something. Sorry, guitar solos are awsome :twss: )

what does w/e mean? Nevermind, figured that one out.

So it sounds like the virus is very easy to contract, true?

Yes, unless you have something that prevents it from getting in your lungs or cuttung yourself. So it seems anyone coming on the mission will need hazmat suits.

This is primarily a rescue mission, thus we need to figure out a cure.... That or we pay for the entire crew of Sarlane to respawn.

To find a cure we need to capture a sample, a sample is easily available on Astare 3, so before we go, we quaruntine a sample.

It's a REALLY big shaft.

Hmmmm.......*bites her finger as she thinks*

Paying for the respawn of the crew of the sarlene sound like the easy way out, so that should be a last resort (assuming there is enough money to pay for it)

Quarentining a sample sounds dangerous, but it's nessesary for survival.....

I suck at making choices.

That is only possible if we have the DNA files of the entire Sarlane, which I don't think they keep handy.

Nah, getting a sample would be easy, send a hazmat to walk around Astare 3 for a bit, quaruntine him, scrap a few microbes off him, and then put him in in a chemical shower or disintergrate the suit.

Are you joining the mission to Sarlane?

It's a REALLY big shaft.

I'm not sure. That's why I said I suck at making decisions Ico. I mean, I'm a medic so I should go, but considering the fact the captain of the Pegasus is a troublemaker.... yeah, I suck at making decisions.

Then I decide for you. Due to you being a medic (I would also appreciate if Mask could come too) then it would be viable if you came. I still need Varsily's approval for this mission to even take place.

Also you'll earn merits and you wont sit in your room drawing dead people anymore, which you should probably jettison into Astare before a commander sees it.

It's a REALLY big shaft.

What is so wrong about facination with sadness?

Personally? Nothing. To a commanding officer that expects his officers and soldiers to kill things when commanded might think it's a bit strange to draw a bunch of dead people, especially yourself.

Just saying. Anywho, are you in?

It's a REALLY big shaft.
