madden05pro1
I've been looking to get a fire cape for quite some time, but I'm not sure i have the stats to do it. If it can be done with these stats what should my set up/invent look like. Also, should I range or melee the caves? Thanks for any advice!
Quyneax
Max melee offence gear (but no void) and go. Inventory is 2/3 pure sets, ee/eee, 4 brews, 4 restores, rest ppots. If you range Jad (do NOT range anything else), bring black hide top/legs and two handcannon, shot equipped. madden05pro1
I'm terrible at kiting so i was planning on ranging the 360's, also, should i use curses or normal prayers? And what potions are in a pure set?
JPMC Mate
Use Curses. Super atk and Str. Really? Cause as I recall it was you who was the one cussing me at base. Also, re-read what you just said: one 15 second delay (which is an exaggeration to begin with) ruins floor times? You are beyond ridiculous. J35u5_M4
You don't have to kite the 360s, they don't move, just sidestep them, the trick is to attack them when they use their magic attack, then walk one space back, and repeat
Quyneax
Use Curses. Super atk and Str.Do you even know what curses do -.-? Use prayers if you are ranging and use prayers if you are meleeing. If you are maging, curses. madden05pro1
I only made it to wave 51, trying to kite the 360's was my biggest downfall (failed about 8 times). Should i just switch to range when i get to the 360's or what? Thanks in advance!
SoulWars
Guys, did you really expect him to sidestep the 360s? Lol If I were you, I'd just range the whole thing. Might wanna train it a bit, though. Edit: he shouldn't care about efficiency, he just wants to get a friggin' fire cape lol

Dire_Wolf
If you have Curses prayer book, you can just EASILY kill TzTok-Jad with prayer switching. Deflect prayers deflect back damage, and the higher damage a monsters hits the better these prayers get. And also since your just deflecting back Jad's damage to himself healers will not appear and he will not be healed. Look at this video:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6xfS6GUa3U8 That took almost 9 minutes? I think attacking normally would be much easier than going 9 minutes without messing up prayer switching. Unless the healers are really that big of a problem, I think it would be easier to actually attack Jad. I don't think we really need a new fire cape topic every day. Don't we have enough guides for it already? Raiouken
Honestly, what's with everyone suggesting Melee all the time? It's a very risky strategy and a potential waste of resources. Just go ranged, it's safe and reliable. Jeez.
JPMC Mate
At above, melee = higher dps = less resources used = more for Jad = win. Really? And what are you basing 1.5 hour wave with? I ask these questions because i am 99 Ranged, Prayer and Defence and i finish doing caves with ranged in less than a hour off task. Ovl + turmoil of course. Claw specs. Needs about 90 melees only, not straight 99s like ranged.
