jjjon123
Does it exist? How do people come up with accurate snap/torstol profit calcs without taking in the fact that torstol is lvl 85 and snaps are lvl 62. 1,000 F2P Total Level Reached 10/8/10 ! jjjon123
No yield is independent on farm levelaverage 6.7 with deaths a patchI can vouch and say that at low levels I only got 5 herbs a patch w supercompost all the time (doing highest herb i could). Now at 59 farm im getting 6-10 herbs most of the time (doing toadflax). 1,000 F2P Total Level Reached 10/8/10 ! JPMC Mate
Farming level has nothing to do with yield. Only yield boosting items do. Really? Cause as I recall it was you who was the one cussing me at base. Also, re-read what you just said: one 15 second delay (which is an exaggeration to begin with) ruins floor times? You are beyond ridiculous.
LitterBug
I'm pretty sure that farm level affects whether your herbs die or not (at least, that's what the level up page says)

Serpent Eye
A higher Farming level does not equate to any significant increase in the amount of herbs/patch you get; however, a higher Farming level does tend to mean that you will encounter less deaths. As squareroot has mentioned above, it is an average yield of 6.5 to 7 herbs/patch. Noticeable increases in yields come with the use of Magic secateurs, Compost and Super compost, and Juju farming potions.

Th e Doctor
Higher farming doesn't mean less herb deaths its fixed at 85% if you use super compost. Nor does it effect herb yeild which is fixed at 6.6 without juju's (assuming all other boosts) and 8.8 with juju's (assuming all other boosts). Anything to the contrary is the luck of your run(s) being bad and in the long run will average out for you. I've had 3 patches die in one run, I've also had a 75 herb run with 3 seeds back from my scroll of life, it averages out. (Mainly the fact that herb death rates are fixed at 15% when using super compost?) The level up page itself says that leveling farming decreases the chance of death
Th e Doctor
Grimy's spreadsheets have it set at 85%. I trust his testing/information. Edit The level up page is wrong. So - it's hearsay basically?Grimy probably has it set to a conservative estimate. You can't very easily incorporate everybody's level in writing a spreadsheet. If by hearsay you mean the result of enough testing to prove it then yes. I personally have tested close to 500 seeds and found the result to be consistent with his findings. I don't think grimy ever made the spreadsheet with a farming level below 99.

My data log states: 198 Herb Patches (excluding not trollheim) farmed.19 herb patches died - which is not a significant sample pool PS Tieszen, can i see ur data ;o
