June 15, 201115 yr It helps with some areas of skilling. Smithing platebodies and stringing comes to mind. Withdraw bob does not stop you from doing your current activity so you can fill your bob with bowstrings while stringing and keep withdrawing. The yak scroll helps alot in wildy. I carry it when I'm doing my greater demon task to bank all my items if I get hit by a pk clan.

June 15, 201115 yr To get the Yak to work when smithing you have to use make-x option. If you use the make all option it will just stop. Yak for Slaying is awesome. i now have 88 pray banked just from slaying and banking bones hides ashes etc.
June 15, 201115 yr If you're going to yak ashes for your tasks, you might want to keep a stack of summoning pots in your bank. 4 pots per demon task is a good default number, you might need to alter it depending on your slayer methods.
June 15, 201115 yr You can use a pack yak and his special for all cases in wich you would normally need to bank (woodcutting, smithing, mining, fletching, 'running' certain things like tanning hides). Also, but this is just a thought:Depending on the profit per sinister key you can make between 1.5 and 2 mill profit / h by running sinister keys.6 keys per trip.1 trip around 2 min.30x6=180 keys / hour
June 15, 201115 yr Whenever you eventually decide to get Turmoil, use your Yak to store more bones when you use them on a gilded altar.
June 15, 201115 yr Fill it with logs and use the Lunar firemaking spot. Can also be used for farm runs, but I haven't tried that personally. When crafting dragonhide bodies you can fill the yak with more leather and craft "X" and keep withdrawing more leather from yak. I don't think it's a lot more xp/hr though. June 15, 201115 yr Woodcutting teaks... Banking all special logs and bird nests with scroll. Carrying a crap load of urns too.
June 15, 201115 yr It's useful for doing long trips of anything really. I wouldn't use it skilling most of the time, but for slayer it's a great moneysaver. Just don't use it over an iron titan at places like abberant spectres. If you want a hint, kill frosts for turmoil. That's the single greatest upgrade you can make right now (but you knew that).
